You have to count the number of carpark lots occupied. RWS has much bigger carpark than MBS and is currently the largest in Singapore.

Hi Wang Lau Sern,

I read one of your post on 23 July where you quoted below:

" Yesterday visited RWS and MBS.

Carparks for premium highrollers in RWS was  30% occupied while at MBS they were fully occupied.   "

The MBS is doing better than RWS for premium highroller, any reason?

The worry with Gents Sp is not so much with the impending new restrictions on S'porea citizens & permanent residents visiting the casino, but the huge slowdown from local & regional high-rollers.

Revenue wise 1 premium high roller = 300 mass market players, based on $30,000 per average bet on the Baccarat table  the premium high-roller makes.

Sustaining the growth momentum may be harder from here, if proposed changes to the law governing the casinos take effect. In fact, some observers even expect business at the casinos to suffer when the amended Caisno Control Act kicks in.

The government is carrying out a month long public consultation exercise to get feedback on a slew of changes it intends to make as it steps up oversight of the gaming industry. The Casino Control Amendment Bill is scheduled to be tabled in Parliament by end July 2012.

There is still much uncertainty as to how the Singapore government's proposed changes to its casino law will impact  Genting Bhd  and its 52%-owned unit  Genting Singapore, whose Resorts World Sentosa is one of only two casino resorts in the island-republic......

Today, GentSp performed surprisingly well in spite of the 'koyak' overall general market...

So it looks like those who are queueing up to buy in @1.30,

may have missed it... but  then, nothing is for sure... Smiley
