I was just browsing my share investor and noted electro tech as trading near book value, thought it would be worth looking at
Strangely today while browsing value investor sites i saw the legendary chou associates also holding this stock.
I know the stock is priced for no growth, it is a difficult business and manaufacturing historically has meant poor returns? but is this still a too cheap price ?

Low volumes counter. Might be a baby-sitter. Somemore TA showing either flat or downtrend.
Anyone care to comment if electrotech is a worthy buy? Phillip call for buy at current prices..
Electrotech, which counts Nokia as one of their major customers will likely see more severe than expected margin pressure from Nokia.

Dividend yield 4.4%
As the business is involved in the mechatronics and EMS division, the industry that this company deals in is rather volatile and depressed at the moment, given the less than favourable ratings given to the semi-conductor industry at the moment.
Potential upside events:
1. Expectations of revenue from semi-conductor business to improve
2. Existing orders-on-hand from customers ensures that there is a steady flow of business and profit to be registered for the next quarter at least.
3. Disruption for one of its key customers has normalised going forward. This should be beneficial to Electrotech to get more business going forward.
4. A decent dividend yield proposed of 4.4% to provide some cheer for existing shareholders.
