wont be surprised if this counter hits top15 volume everyday because the numbers of shares is really a lot, after the 3 for 1 rights offer during july 2009 period.
seems like investors in this counter are panic, and as i mentioned in the previous Frasercomm board, such behaviours need to be factored in because people are panic and investers sentiments had changed especially when after the US market had not performed well recently and 3Q results are just around the corner (may or not be good).
anticipate more 'TOP 15 VOLUME' counter in the next few weeks, months.. because market will be volatile and people will buy and sell accordingly. People see value in this counter, but on the flip side, the numbers of shares is really excessive, thus, short-term, this counter may not climb up much even for really bullish market condition, because there bound to be sellers surpressing this counter down (taking profits). However, this counter will still inch up gradually, step by step under continuous, progressive market condition and i dont see it happening this year at all, with so much uncertainity.
hope to give you an idea of not expecting too much from this counter in the short-mid term, best is to pack your bag, go and sleep and ignore the counter for 2-3months, then see it again, otherwise, you will likely to end up selling this counter.
good thing to note, 3Q09 result for this counter is due end of this month, time to collect some dividends before you go to sleep for 6mths if you are only trading this counter.

So, FCOT will also announce its 4Q09 result on 23 Oct too ? With dividend ???
I heard that FCOT had changed its fiscal year account closing date to 30 Sept.

In a move to refinance the debt of Frasers Commercial Trust (FCOT), its trustee British and Malayan Trustees Limited yesterday (22 Sep) entered into an agreement with lenders to extend a transferable term loan facility of $500 million for a term of three years. This extended facility is part of $675 million debts facilities which FCOT's manager, Frasers Centerpoint Asset Management (Commercial) Ltd, unveiled in June in a recapitalisation move for the real estate investment trust.

i dont think we can expect much from this counter in the short-term.
1. too much float around, therefore unless fundamental improvements substantially (perhaps from the 3Q09 financial results or dividend distribution).
2. doubts that the dividend payout will be reduced per unit share due to share dilution as a result of the 3 for 1 rights.
3. current TA shows that the counter is not totally bullish.
however, i do see mid-long term potential from this counter, expect the counter to raise to $0.25/share in 12~18months time as economy climate recovers.
dont bet on short term, be patient.
just my 2-cent worth from an amateur.
1 lot buy up to maintain price (distribution), 1 lot sell down to suppress price (accumulation), which means for 1 lot buy up BB maintaining price wait for more buy vol then BB suddenly sell all causing price to plunge very low. Any sifu or master can enlighten me?
