Today first day Cum Entitlement. More upside from here... especially when the market sentiment is ding donging. Good to wait to sell 35% of my holding at 55c while keeping the rest...

Hi tigertrader,

That being said, isn't it still a win-win situation for us? Like what you stated below... buying one lot costs $450 now... selling it to Auric for $192.50 and selling the outstanding immediately at $292.50 = $485. Thus, we will be profiting $35 right? Sorry, I'm quite new to this. Pls advise.

Of course the stock will not go to 55c.  If you do the math, the premium that you get for each lot as an investor is 8%.  Think about it, if you have 1000 shares and the last close is 45c.  Auric gives you $192.5 for 350 shares.  You are left with 650 shares worth 45c based on last trade so that's worth $292.5.  You add $192.5 + $292.5 = $485.  You compare that to the last price of 45c for your initial 1000 shares, which were worth $450, so $485/$450-1= 7.78%

Minority shareholders are getting abused once again.  Auric basically buys total control of the company without having to make an offer for the entire stockholding.  And it's only costing them to pay a premium of 8% to minority shareholders.  What they should really do is offer a good premium (say 65c per share) for the ENTIRE company.  I can't believe the existing shareholders are not protesting about this and are just willing to accept this poor offer.  And I'm sure the "independent" financial adviser will say that the current offer is good for shareholders.  What a joke.

Hey clinton86, yr statement very dangerous. ppl may misinterpret.

Auric is buying 35% of the outstanding shares that it does not own at 55c per piece. I believe the price will be pushed up towards 55c. I will wait.
