Food Junction expects 3Q loss

Food Junction Holdings says it expects to report a loss for the third quarter ended September 30 due mainly to the closure of Malones Cafe and Restaurant operation in Suzhou, China.

As Malones operation in Suzhou had performed below expectations, the company has decided to cease it to streamline its operations in China.

Details of the group's financial performance will be disclosed when the company finalises and announces its third quarter results in November 2011.
