You are right, Rough Trader. Its a south bound train.

Its been travelling along the southern border for the last five days.

It will go "South of the Border" pretty soon. So trade with care.

Hi pwcyan88

Many thanks for the update. Is the unknown party Dyno Nobel?

In any case, if you are interested in this counter, do be careful.  I remember Fabchem's price jumped up to almost 75 cts (?) when the discussion was first reported.  It subsequently fizzles down when no further info came forth.

I am particularly sceptical of china shares now, having been burnt.

Hi Irene

Ya, they reported the earlier attempt was with Australia's Dyno Nobel which failed in Sep when prelim discussions ended. This 2nd one went to secondary discussion stage after initial stages of discussion.

Why are these so-called controlling shareholders so keen to divest ? BT further reported that these shareholders are Fortsmith Investment, fully owned by Fabchem's MD Son Bowen, Fivestar 50% owned by non-executive Chairman Lim Seck Yeow and Lombard, wholly owned by executive director Bao Hongwei.

Hi

Must say I did not read BT's report of 11 Nov.

However I thought Fabchem, some months back, was in serious similar discussions with some Australian company?

BT 11 Nov reported that Fabchem controlling shareholders attempting to sell a stake to another unnamed party has reached the 'secondary discussion' stage. How will this affect the px - positive or negative ?

Volume inconsistent during the past few months. No clear indicators but according to Bollinger Bands, it might either flat or downtrend. Wait for a few more days to confirm the trend.
