Surprise FSL is not performing.
To be frank shipping trust like FSL when compare to reit, its current pricing look attractive keep.
Pay around 600 somthing per lot now : in return u get around possible $21 per next 2 qtr (fr 3rd & 4th qtr)
And next year if the economy better, we may get back the high DPU rate that was given last time. Still a good buy. Depend on how ones look at it
Current if compare to reit, this shipping trust still provides good divi with its current price. (my opinion)
If Rickmer solves its finance refinancing issue, it is another shipping trust that we can opt for too.
This one not bad. I'm vested in as well.
Here is a analyst report to share with u:

OCBC Investment Research upgrades First Ship Least Trust to ‘buy’ Our updated discounted FCFE (free cash flow to equity) value for First Ship Lease Trust (FSLT) is S$0.84 (10% discount rate, prev: S$0.83). In our view, the balance sheet side of the trust's challenges is mostly resolved (with conditions/pricing still uncertain). The other concern that remains (industry-wide) is counterparty risks. We ascribe a 10% "industry uncertainty" discount to reach a fair value estimate of S$0.76 (prev: S$0.58). This implies a total return of about 28% (15% upside, 13% yield). We like FSLT because of its 1) new more sustainable business model; and 2) its diversified vessel mix of containers, tankers and dry bulk carriers. For these reasons, FSLT is now our top pick for the sector. Upgrade to BUY |
Any1 interested in FSL? Tuesday vol not bad. RSI above 50%. Hammer Head.
