Don't know whether is it rotational play as micropennies are being played up last friday. I jeep unifiber at $0.026 so cannot monitor so many. Anyway when trading micropennies have to trade with care. Have a stoploss..
Don't know about any news but chart looks good once break 0.04. Was stable at 0.043 then suddenly surge up, should have more upside. Another energy shares following Mirach Energy!
Oh yah..the previous thread was in feb 2013..my oversight..so is there anything brewing?

Was this announcement before or after market closes? Normally for profit guidance or loss, stock will get selldown.

PROFIT GUIDANCE FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2012
The Board of Directors of EMS Energy Limited (the “Company”) together with its subsidiaries (the “Group”)
wishes to announce that the Group is expected to report a loss for its full year results ended 31 December 2012
(" FY2012”).
The Group expects to report a loss for FY2012 mainly attributable to the following reasons:
(a) Reduction in operating profit mainly due to the reduction in turnover and gross profit. (The reduction in turnover
was mainly attributable to fewer new signification projects secured in FY2012 coupled with delays in severalproject schedules by customers in relation to the Group’s EES segment)
(b) Provision for doubtful debts incurred in respect of certain collectibles from an overseas customer due to the delay in customers’ overall project schedule
(c) Goodwill written-off and loss on disposal of a core segment of the Company and
(d) Increase in operating expenses mainly attributed to the increase in research and development expenditures, business operational expenses in China, depreciation expenses and certain office operational expenses.
This profit guidance is based on a preliminary review of the unaudited financial results of the Group. Further details of the Group’s performance will be disclosed when the Group announces its FY2012 financial results in due course.

Ok it's made a big move suddenly - could be ahead of some good news... There is certainly value creation in their sale of OSS and the listing if subsidiary.. Not to mention a cash inflow in the short term..
Yes they sold 40% of OSS a subsidiary and still hold 20% and OSS will proceed on a listing Ipo track within next 3 years... Nav will increase about 2c to around 6.5c? I understand Ems will enjoy the dividend at 60% ownership before completion of partial disposal. Great news as proceeds will reduce debt and finance new projects! What will these new projects be? Huat tmr...

Have smoke, have fire... maybe a strategic investor not necessarily tan boy tee? But it happened in Ezion after some rumours and Ah boy really joined them in the end..
