Too many S-Chips in SGX liao...

Who to blame ah....??
Most S-chip listed here is a holding company, most of their asset is in China. The management of these companies has no legal obligation or whatsoever responsiblity to our law and enforcement. Simply because our law have no jurisdication over them. It is like saying......so long....sucker...
For that matter, the CEO is not even here and the local executive directors are usually for show. See SinoEviron problem.......the exec dir are very hardworking.....but powerless to go anything.
After getting the funds, these companies can just report loss and loss until everything is gone. Our law on accounting law for companies is very well established....it is the pple who report that are in question.
And if SM Goh have to go PRC to beg for help on this issue......it is that serious.
Do anyone has a tally to show the S-chips failure rate ?
So for Debao.....first 9 months loss 183M RMB......at this rate....how long can it last.
And there are already many published examples......I am a bit shock why investors are still buying.
So who to blame ? |

In the Charity Bull Run held in Singapore year 2008, SGX has donated some raised fund to China Youth devleopment Fund. Some people had raised question why must we donate to these China people where there so many rich people there to help their own country men.........
SGX replied : """"""......The Bull Charge has benefited from the generosity of overseas listed companies over the last five years........Todate, Chinese companies have formed the most SIGNIFICANT group of contributors, thus, for our first OVERSEAs Charity, we selected one from China......"""""

After check with someone in a stock broker firm, they are correct and SGX approved the listing because the last 5 yrs results is all positive and profit ! Thus, they quickly get listed and the lost is only this Qtr, correct me if i am wrong, they say stated in Prospectus. Thus the approve is according to the correct procedure. FYI. Good Luck.

The rain seems to have paused for the The Bull Charge 2009 to proceed as planned.
It's a charity run that has raised over $2 million for 12 charities.
Momo was at the run this year.
Did anyone of you participated in the run as well?

Previously last few IPO, when drop below the IPO price, like Tiger and China Hu An (cable), they all stablise the share by buying in, how come this one did not do this? No one want to stablise it, LOL.
then, should put it on 2nd board and then look for sponsor, why put in mainboard ! Such a lousy one. Singapore how to become Asia Financial hub, lost confident for investor.
In HK if your share to be listed, cannot broke below the IPO price and if the share to be listed is not a local (mainland + HK), foreign (recent Russia Steel Co. listed in HK), they need some local big shots liks Hutchson Whampoa and another one to be their backer so that local HKs will not suffer and make sure the price cannot below IPO when trading. These are the rules for foreign parties to listed there. Here, some cookoos will get hook ! Good Luck.

Cache Log Trust went up high high and this one punctured at debut. SO be very very selective even on IPO.
