My take is that Ah Sim had himself to blame for firing the first salvo in lawsuits. Big mistake. I won't go in for Creative yet. Jobs will eat up chye Sim at the lawsuits.
hi passo695, how you know after the world cup everything will be ok? the law suit may take weeks and years even.
Ten4One's comments are valid. NTA is just a guide. There are stocks which are trading below NTA (low PE) though the companies have been profitable, while others way above NTA (high PE) though the companies are not very profitable. The "fair price" at any point of time, according to one of the forum participants, is when there is a rebound after the stock appears to be oversold. ..
Target it at $7. After the world cup..........law suits.......... everything will be back to normal.
I remember just last year.... Creative was priced around $16-18! What a difference 1 year makes!
Its NTA of around $8.10 should provide some support.
Hey the Market is always biased and that caused the prices to rise and fall. The only Fair Price is NTUC (or UnTil yoU C) - just a punt!
The price of a stock is not determined by incisive reaction to available info most of the times. Rather it is the result of herd's instincts that are as much the outcome of Emotions as of hard data.
When events have thinking participants, the subject matter is no longer confined to facts but also includes their thinkings. Thus, there'll be pendulum swings from fact to perceiption and vice versa. So as correctly pointed out by S'poregal to ignore entry or exist based on fair pxs.
Thanks for all the advise.
yup... I agree with hikitty....
fair price depends on market condition, company condition, investor sentiment... etc.... hard to say because all variables are in constant motion.
I suggest you study trends rather than targeting entry or exit points based on fair buy or fair sell price.

some prices always fairer than others ?
The fair price would depend on market sentiments. As it is impossible to always buy at the lowest or sell at the highest, buying below the historical low, after a positve rebound, will be the best bet in view of the law suits.tht the company is embroiled in. As they can be long drawn out affairs, buying low would benefit any investor who has a positive long term view of the company so long as it does not go belly under.
Any one can offer what is the fair price to buy Creative? $8.00 or lower.
