Actually I calculated worngly.   The dividends paid the last round was 13.3% of the investment.

Sorry for the error.

Just to add, I initially thought this counter was gone case when they consolidated.   Now technically its NTA is around Singapore 37 cents on fast calculation.

I am keeping the counter as it is too much lower than its NTA   If the next dividend is 1 cents, that will be damn good.   Enjoy..

I meant 100 lots @ 4.5 cents.   My dividends is $600 as it pays $0.006 per share, so it works out to $600.00, good money.   Can buy and keep.   Next year if it continues to give dividends, it would be higher, I suppose.   Lol..

Thank you Bopaha.   Where are you?

I bought 100 shares at 4.5 cents ($4500) and received $600 in dividends coming today.   No sellers.   NTA is S$0.31 cents (RMB 153.38 cents), right?   Really good bargain.

Read the latest report to know that this counter on track making money for the second year.   Even if you don't understand figures, go to the para on Net Asset Per shares or Earning per share.   You will find this counter is too lowly valued.   It should be at lest 20 cents if properly valued. Pm me if you want to know why

Wow, 0.6 Cent for a below 10 cent counter is more than 10 percent dividend yield right?

Bopanha      ( Date: 04-Mar-2013 13:54) Posted:

Really as I predicted, now confirmed to pay .6 Singapore cents as dividends.   Huat arh for those loyal shareholders.

you need to check in terms of the sale proceeds, that represents how much per share, and what other plans the Co. has for the money before thinking of dividend.

Hahaha. OK, there is no secret.. Company has got buyer for its 100% subsidiary's 100% property holding company that owns one commercial and one residential property.  The sale price totals $72 million  Chinese Yuans.

The sale brings in much money for mother ChinaSingInv and I believe they might even think  of paying a dividend to loyal shareholders. The reason is its NAV will become 170 CNY (RMB), equivalent to 34 Sg cents per share, a far distance from its last traded 4.5 cents per share in the market.  Imagine paying 1 or 2 cents dividends, it will still have alot of money in the bank.  Shareholders would be real happy!
