hi, i think the bonus issue would have done yaan good, not in the sense of share price, but probably to improve the mkt cap of the share. The mkt cap of yaan is really small, so the bonus issue would have increased the liquidity of this stock. Unfortunately, it was cancelled. But it should not affect the value of the stock, as a fundamentally sound company with low PE.

Rights issue also have the purpose of getting capital from the shareholders. thats why the exercise price is usually lower than market price to induce pp to subscribe for it. Think most of the time, rights are meant to raise capital rather than to raise awareness.

klooloola: initially i also tot abt tat for bonus and rights issue. but i tink with such issues, it can generate interest in this stock and drive up the price. for bonus, existing shareholders got more shares and maybe more tempted to sell some in open market to others thereby creating volume. for rights, when price is adjusted, the new lower share price is deemed 'cheap' and will lure NEW potential shareholders in. conclusion: my gut feel is bonus and rights helped to raise investors awareness of this stock so more trading volume on the stock will drive the price up hopefully.

Bonus cancelled see announcement .

Correct me if i am wrong , but it seems to me that a bonus  is as  meaningless as  a split.  You will get more shares and the price will adjust down accordingly exactly as in a split- the total dollar value of what you hold is the same pre and post bonus- so why bother. Is my thinking correct ?

A slow and quiet ascent of this stock, like what has been observed along the likes of Fragrance or Hersing.

1) Tight majority shareholder control of more than 60% should lead to a good ascent on improving business.

2) Low PE, backward or forward - sub 6, should lead to a more realistic evaluation soon

3) Low shares outstanding should probably lead to share placements or rights issue sooner or later to support strong business plans and R&D investments.

Accumulating slowly. Vested but not an inducement to trade.
