My condolences to all vested. To think some dare to criticise the SGX for being a "stagnant pool" for S-Chips, this is one of the reasons why.

Companies don't commit fraud or go bust in a vacuum. There are many red-flags like poor earnings etc. Poor earnings are usually a pre-cursor to all sorts of nonsense. China Print Q1 and Q2 08 earnings dived dramatically. This was a clear sign to all long term shareholders to divest. Don't hold on to companies making poor earnings or losses. When my China Milk reported poor earnings in Aug, I immediately sold.

if you intend to put in substantial money in a company for long term, must really have the confidence in the integrity of the management... china companies run by chinese must be careful....CAO etc..

Just info sharing. http://news.asiaone.com/News/the%2BStraits%2BTimes/Story/A1Story20100220-199788.html

MINORITY investors of debt-laden China Printing & Dyeing will likely lose every cent now that the firm has been allowed to delist without having to make an exit offer.

The firm's shares have been suspended since October 2008 after the founders fled while owing millions, leaving minority investors in a state of limbo.

The company, which is under judicial management, had proposed to the Singapore Exchange (SGX) to be allowed to delist without offering to buy investors out. Yesterday, China Printing said the SGX had no objections to the company's proposal.

China Printing gets SGX's nod to delist without exit offer

By ANGELA TAN

Judicial managers of China Printing & Dyeing Holding Limited said the Singapore Exchange has no objection to the company's proposed delisting without making an exit offer.

The exchange had issued a letter informing the solicitors of the judicial managers of its decision on February 18.

The debt-laden company's trouble started in late 2008 when its CEO Tao Shoulong and deputy CEO Yan Qi fled after a subsidiary announced it was unable to honour 2 billion yuan worth of debts.

The husband-and-wife pair, the founders of China Printing, was subsequently arrested in the Chinese province of Guangdong on suspicion of fraud and illegal fund raising.

Trading of its shares have been suspended since October 2008.

very strong set of Q3 results released this evening.

see posting by Beck of CNA forum: Cheers. With the increased in EPS, this GEM is super cheap now at 0.25 and the most impt point to note is the very high potential growth of its business in the next few yrs, and the market will surely realise its value esp its future earnings capability...

Will be another CG tech in the making where its value was realised only after a long while remaining at very cheap levels..So for those with good forsight, stay tuned and do not let this sweet opportunity slips by...Will surely top up again if there are further weaknesses in next few days..This strong sets of results are testament to more rewards coming ahead and for the patience shown...

Hope everyone is still in the boat...Cheers
