Human beings are "enigmatic" . They rather chase after shares that have gone up sky high. When CGL got action, everybody wants to rush in! Now so cheap, nobody wants to chase after. Whoever bought today will definitely make $$$. Once CGL starts running, only a triathlete can catch up with it!! .
finally got action today 
CGL announced 2nd qr report on 8 August. It has not announced the release date of 3rd qr report. Based on 2nd qr's timing, it shd be by, the latest, next week - between 7 and 10 Nov (just my estimate).
when will CGL announce the 3Q profits?
CGL is coming alive. 3rd quarterly report shd be profitable as no profit warning has been issued. Turn for rotational play soon (year end? ) would drive targeted price to 30cts.

anyway i not in hurry to sell. dun mind keeping another 3 or 6 mths..

Sorry for the typo error. It shd be u ARE a smart greenhorn to buy CGL shares at current low prices. The NOT was inserted in a hurry. A thousand apologies. U are the smartest by NOT chasing after shares which have gone up too much in price for no rhyme or reason, just like Uni-Asia's . Conversely, u are the smartest by buying CGL shares which have gone below IPO price for no rhyme or reason , even after it announced the start-up of a new biz. The "manipulators"have been trying to collect CGL shares at low prices, without much success, for the past few months.

U r not a smart greenhorn to buy CGL shares at current low prices. Not likely to disappear from the market as it's not a speculative counter. Shd move north soon when the rotational players come to realise its low price and small free float which allow them to push up the prices easily.
What I meant by an issue of 50 million shares was that during IPO 50 million shares were issued: 48 million to placement holders and 2 million to members of the public. Sorry for the wrong information in my original posting.

U shd be correct, based on the issued & outstanding 170 million shares. Wow big security firms are also their shareholders - what are retail investors waiting for????? Those who don't believe us by not buying at low prices now will kick themselves when CGL starts moving north again within the next few months.
checked the annual report 2006.
Top 20 shareholders holding 136,970,873 ie 80.58% of shares , but these includes UOBKH , OCBC Secu and so on.
Is this right? sorry ah, i greenhorn leh..

Could you check the number of shares in the hands of the top 20 shareholders? The "sky" should be the limit for CGL shares since its biz has definitely turn around.

A small issue of 50 million shares. Not certain of the number in top 20 shareholders. If not too much of a trouble, could u pse check the annual report (sorry, have lost mine.)? Other vested just don't wish to voice their concerns. Bought below IPO price - aiyah . Rotational play by traders should come to this counter soon. Shd move back to IPO price soon?

U may be right. Small float of 50k shares, should become RED HOT and "rocket" (not sail) north to the stars soon. Neglected CHINA SMALL LAND stock, waiting to be spring out of its box like "jack-in-the-box". Most of the placement holders are not selling coz they bought ONLY @ 22cents each!! Most of the public holders (who are usually stags) had already sold their allotments.
What happen? price falls agn....... haiz.....
CHINA GREAT LAND, a neglected stock, and it appears that while other china stocks are a great demand with RED-HOT now, but this CHINA GREAT LAND, appears to be china small land. It should be due for upwards appreaction, please look into it now, do not slip through your fingers.... while it is time to grab it, for possible sailing north.
any idea when CGL will be back to its ipo price of $0.20+ ?
CGL will move north through rotational play soon!! Buy now at current low prices, why wait for it to move north and then decide to chase after it when its price rises????
