top11gm,
Rather than merely comparing share prices of companies in similiar industries, perhaps you should consider using more equitable yardsticks to ascertain the value of the stock...vis a vis their share price.
Some of these yardsticks are earnings per share (eps), NAV or NTA per share (Net Asset Value or Net Tangible Asset), gross and net profit margins.
Did you compare the Balance Sheet of both companies... ? What are the assets value like for both co? So, the question is are you comparing apple to apple? (I didn't read their P&L and BS, I do not know the details. Just making a remark)
FOOD FOR THOUGHT.......Comparing CH Offshore and Swiber, why is CHO (Can read up more on this company at Shareinvestor website) trading at 1/2 the price of Swiber, both are in similar business and both have good prospects going forward with the current pickup in oil exploration.Either CHO will trade upwards to reduce the price disparity or Swiber will trade down.More likely CHO will rerate upwards.
