Hi, am just a novice starting to trade. Need some advice....... there was some dividends announced on BT on Monday. How do you decipher the payment?? E.g 0.50 (how much to 1 lot?) Thanks ![]() |
If that is so, 1 lot = 1,000 x (0.5c/100c) = $5.
if they announced $0.01 dividend payout (usually it means $0.01 per share), then 1 lot (1000 shares) will give you $10. Hope this clarifies.
