It has made a U turn dramatical, should head North again after it was sold down, imagine that d river bed bottom is at 12ct, now headed North to touch 20ct, at 12ct with huge volume of >30mil shares traded appear to provide very strong support. A good sign, another sign of support will test 25ct -35ct range, (in between trading price will fluctuate), trading price will some what stable btw such range for sometimes to come. Err..for about 1- 2 mths. just sharing my tot. ONI my personnal view.

Note: X deal of 17.6ct(300lots), 17.8ct(100lots) and 19cents(200lots), a total of 600lots changed hand.

BBs and BBs traders are making an effort to stable, steady as it goes.....

"The counter has over d past three weeks, has lost about 2/3 of its trading value. Given d adverse market sentiment, investors are taking no chances over possible dilution of their interest in Dayen's when d bonds are issued, overall trading prices should be more stable now after it has more or less converted, but going back to it hay day prices is a very difficult up hill task and require much more effort from insider"."

"Most traders (Like it or not) may has sold off (faster, even if it losses $$$, if not losses more) their clients interest during the sell down on news of convertable bond issue and now is buying back in big volume".

I wonder... if the current market will cause this one to melt down... the volume is similar to the many others...

As this sudden surge does not look like insider but someone on stop-limit order... speculators?

Only a few stocks have the proper volume for past 14 days... oh well lets see what happen on Monday...

Will it be a black monday?...the whole thing should recovers on Friday... as my TA shows a "smiles" on most stocks... but only qns is will it be as good as Ytd?

The company is so condemned that toxic cb expert, PCIM, is likely to avoid having any stake in it.

I would not bite any johnnie-com-lateely companies looking for blackgold. Worse when they're talking about indonesia. Indonesian resources are plagued with corruptions and opaque regulatory hurdles. These newbie johnnie-com-lateely are being misled by other earlier investors who want to exit asap from the scene.

Talking about jade, don't they have toxic convertibles outstanding? slim chance for share price to run up if pcim  pours toxic liquid non-stop.

Big sales by insiders, probably due to fall in price in their margin accounts.

Executive chairman John Lee had to sell 16.2m shares in the past few days, regulatory filings showed. Amid a huge sell-off last week that has wiped out almost half of Dayen's market value after its diversification into the energy sector, substantial shareholder and Singapore Airlines chairman Stephen Lee Ching Yen also decided to sell a 4.88% stake in the open market, separate SGX filings showed.

John Lee sold 4.5m shares at $0.16 apiece on Jul 2 and another 11.7m shares at $0.13 the next day as part of 'sales initiated by financial institution to meet obligation', SGX filings note. No financial institution was named, though sources told BT that Kim Eng Securities could be involved in the forced sell. Following the two transactions, John Lee's stake in Dayen has been slashed to 10.4% from 18.4%. From Jun 9-11, he sold 2.86m shares to meet margin calls in four separate transactions. These were mostly married deals at $0.40 apiece, which was above the market price then. The sale was a personal matter and had nothing to do with the business, he said at that time.

The coal mining activities have been suspended, pending the outcome of contractual negotiations with all involved parties.

Earlier, MIM said could not "perform its obligations under the Mining Rights Agreement. And even more worrisome is that Dayen had in Apr passed the rights to China Fujian Foreign Trade Centre Holdings for US$25m to be paid between Sep '08 and Dec '13.

In Dec 2007, it entered into a mining rights agreement with Indonesia's PT Modal Investasi Mineral (MIM) for rights to mine up to 5m tonnes of coal in Kalimantan over 7 years for a fixed royalty payment of US$5 per tonne. The 5 million tonnes was supposed to translate to revenue of US$250m (on a freight-on-board basis) based on then prevailing market price.

With the problems, investors are doubting whether the water treatment company would be able to achieve its goal of entering the coal mining industry.
