Elephy, how many shares you have? in the application form ( called ARE) you should see the number of shares you have. As the Rights issues is 10 for 50, that means for every 50 shares you have your entitlement for the Right Shares is 20, for 1000 share your entitlement is 200 Rights.
You must make a decision first, and there is a time limit to this decision, I briefly put in simple form
1. If you want to exercise your Rights, you must pay 8 cents each share and you need to either complete the ARE form, sign, prepare payment ( check your prospectus on what type of payment is allowed) then put in the envelop and deliver to CDP before the time/date ( normally 4.45pm 26 Nov). Or you may choose to use ATM for transaction, which is simpler ( please check what is in the prospectus)
2. If you DO NOT want to exercise your Rights entitlement, you can SELL them in the market, before you do you should check your CDP account to see that these are credited into your account already. the Rights share ( called nil-paid Rights Shares) should show in your CDP account as: one of the follows: Firstlink R ( for 1000-Rights) or Firstlink R200 ( for 200-Rights). These are Sellable in the market, SGX website indicate price of 0.005 at end of today as below. These have limited time, from 12 Nov to 20 Nov. once this date is over NO MORE trading on these nil-paid Rights Shares
