China Healthcare Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Econ Medicare Centre Pte Ltd, has been awarded a contract by Ministry of Health (MOH) to operate and manage a new nursing home at Yio Chu Kang Road . This is a first-of-its-kind initiative by MOH to collaborate with a private operator to deliver quality, cost-effective nursing home services with a focus on recuperative care. The new facility, named Econ Medicare Centre @ Yio Chu Kang has a capacity of up to 88 beds. It will join the 7 other nursing homes managed by the established home grown premium brand, ECON, renowned for its quality rehabilitation, chain of nursing and medicare centres.
