btw genting sp is not earning earning earning.. but earning lesser, lesser, and lesser.. i'm not vested now but used to hold 3 quarters back when they first started to lose their market leadership.. yah i don't think they will make losses too, but only how much.. difficult to guess since this business partly depends on the " luck" factor..

Trading Genting on Monday is like gambling in casino. It can go either way 50-50 chance!

If MBS reported not so good report, Genting having lesser mkt share than MBS will certainly report that's below mkt expectations. Unless Genting increases its mkt share and rope in more high end players which is unlikely. Tues is a public holiday, any big movement can only be seen on wed.

If Mabel's role is to bring in regional big players then why she brought in local players? Seem like she wasn't that great in regional networking.

Anyway, share price was down so much before result, it seem like not going to be good. However, looking from the otherside, if result is within the market expectation of " bad result" , it won't go down much more.

Mabel Lee who was responsible for bringing in high-stake players from Asia was pressured by CRA to resign in Aug for her role to reimburse casino annual entrance fee to high-stake players.

Without this woman around, I think RWS revenue from high stake gambling would suffer.

Genting shall have gain from 980mil financial asset investment. It is either record in this Q or next Q. Don't be surprise to see profit gain. However, brokers are more interested to see the core business operation which shall be bad.

Genting SP only went down to touch $1.22 on 26/07/2012 and created a double bottom formation on 13/08/2012 at $1.235 . It did a technical rebounce from here to $1.42 on 17/09/2012 n made a double top formation on 19/09/2012 . It came down rapidly n broke the lower border line of the bearish rising wedge at $1.375 on 01/10/2012 . It fell almost non stop after that to reach $1.235 on 09/11/2012 Friday closing . Genting SP may reach $1.16 this round , if the volume is huge , the downtrend may continue . No moving average is supporting the trend , RSI is at oversold position n Directional movement index are all pointing to long term downtrend .

ok . so far only vested on genting bonds. v gd steady fixed returns. May consider to pick up genting sp when i see the reversal signal.

I don't really understand why still got people has so high expectation on Genting. Just leave it alone till early 2013, it may be pick up during year end Christmas period and chinese new year period.
