Yangzijiang Shipbuilding: PPL Holdings rejects Sembcorp Marine’s payment

Summary: Sembcorp Marine (SMM) yesterday tendered payment of S$59.4m to PPL Holdings (PPLH) for the purchase of the remaining 15% stake in PPL Shipyard. However, PPLH rejected the payment, which is not surprising given that SMM’s offer is only 55% of the offer price by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding’s (YZJ) consortium. In a separate announcement, Baker Tech also reiterated that it has sought and received legal advice that SMM “has no basis for its claims”. YZJ’s CEO has said that he plans to meet Temasek Holdings in the hopes of reaching an amicable agreement. Given the uncertainty over the deal which may lead to near term knee jerk reactions, we remain prudent and maintain our HOLD rating and fair value estimate of S$1.60 on YZJ.

P/s - Medical w hospitalisaion - ALWAYS insure the MAXIMUM coverage (if 500,000, go for it) for there are many times where

        patient has not enough to cover medical expenses and end up paying a lot of cash or cant pay to the hospital.

        If  cant afford maximum, try to go for  2nd max.  No point go for only 60,000 or 100,000 etc, if the premium is not much  

       difference, dont save on this type of policy though it has no insurance elements in it,

       but given the ever-increasing medical expenses, its worth paying.

 

If cant afford all family members under such coverage,  BREAD WINNERS of the family should at least have sufficient medical coverage before its too late.  :)

The TRUTH  is  there  are  at  least  TWO CAKES if NOT MORE

and each can have OWN CAKE(S)  to satiate OWN  DESIRES and VISIONS.

There is nO LiMiT  on how  many  CAKES  bOth  RWS and MBS can  CREATE fOr themselves  with  INNOVATION.
