Must have tot you punted rather than tikam tikamed. My buy-sell game is a hedge, for eg. short shares and buy cfds. Then if the share px drop, cover the short with a profit and hold the cfds tempering it with a bit of heroism by adding a few more. Then when the cfds returns to profit, sell for profit again. The reverse can also be activated, e.g. sell cfd and buy shares. If share px drop, you cover cfd. Any of the ways enable you profit twice from the same counter.
Just how many of you play this way?

I know you like short-term trading, but today is really not the day to do this.
Better follow US and take a day off.
Maybe after US holiday, when US market opens again, you have better opportunities.

Don't worry, I believed iPunter was short, but I also believed he was long at the same time. One side lost but now hoping to recover from the long side. Am I right, iPunter? You seemed bullish for this counter earlier when it was below 1.00 buck, if I am not wrong.
most of the times, cannot trust this kind of analysts reports. who knows they put 'BUY' so that they can sell high to you. the same case when genting hits 1.32. all say buy buy will reach 1.40 to 1.50. in the end, you guys know what happened..
well, i dont know about this time.

i also find it quite kelong, out of blue few fund houses issued report to recommend buy the last few days, digging the hole for retail investors to jump in??? i'm still holding though

Genting moves according to script....good luck :)
For me, to avoid the lose of opportunity and to avoid all the noises, the best thing is to buy and keep it for long term. There always have ppl help you to push up the price, it will never stay low as results tell the fact.

hmm. everyday, genting reaching a high despite a bearish global economy.. quite funny also. do anyone of you think that it will reach their previous high of 1.30 or 90 something cents is a fair value for them?

definitely not from the investment arm of C*&^bank coz they insisted that this counter only worth 77c or something like that . Perhaps they need to attend investment and valuation 101 course.
