BAYOR is Buy At Your Own Risk.
DYODD is Do Your Own Due Diligent.
peg_li,
Dun just follow broker recommendation and buy/sell blindly, good to read on their FA write-up but learn TA to time your entry n exit is crucial.

who on earth have not been cheated in their life. Every businessman got cheated, that is how we learned. Personnally, lost a few hundred thousand., so shd i drown myself with my tears.
But it is always easier to blame other for our own ignorant.
who is to blame, those who suggest or say, OR those who put it into action
you must BAYOR. and DYODD.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE,YOU DID NOT DO YOUR HOMEWORK,
the fault with the world is the fault with us as individual, the world is faultless.

Hi peg_li,
U r most welcome.
It is not possible for me to post charts for more than a few counters due to my time constraints as I also need to monitor my personal trades, follow-up on news, read analyst write-ups (purely just for info, dun trust to much in wat they write, must do own homework) n most importantly, time for my family.
Posting n analysing is both time-consuming n tedious.
In any case, my chart posting is purely base on my TA interpretation n I might be right or wrong, so still must dyodd.
I seek to try my best to post for one or 2 stocks if my time permits n normally are those stocks tat I m holding, my thinking is ,since I have analysed it, why not post to exchange pointers with fellow TA practitioner to see where I might go wrong .
Normally I dun hold more than 3 counters to dedicate my full attention to it so tat it dun slip by me any buy or sell sign as I closely monitor it. To make money, we dun have to hold many stocks, may lose concentration n end up worse.

Hi peg_li,
This is my sincere advice, no hard feelings.
I always encourage newbies to learn the art of interpreting TA, though it is not infallible,
thus need to also set stop-loss, dun listen to those wild talks, we owe ourselves our living, they dun owe us anything, need to do own homework.
Always remember, master the skill of TA and money management n you are the master of your trade and not a slave of those wild talks.
If u are serious about trading, click on my nick and read all my past sharings n advice to newbies n my 3 golden mantras (slowly take your time to read thru, it will definitely benefit u) as I m more than qualified to post these advices as I had walked thru the baptism of fire in trading, walking the path tat all newbies started, got burnt seriously till I finally wake-up and realise the importance of learning TA.
I had also specially created a thread "Learning TA" for newbies in mind as the thought of newbies being burnt saddens me and reminds me of my past. |

Peg_li,
regret is to imprison ourselves in the past, like i read in a buddhist handout. No point, it is gone, so in the process of regreting you overlook the current situation and cause you to miss even more opportunity, which in turn causes even more regret. There can be no end.
concentrate on the current rally, forget the past, make full use of currrent rally to make lot of $. who on earth have not been in a situation like you did.
move on. may you make $$$ in this sucker rally. |

Ya, a lot of analysis and remisers have been saying correction is coming, wolf is coming, but when? STI keeps going up and up, making me fearful dare not buy, miss a lot boats! what a waste! sometimes, feel that it's the gut feel, if you think positively, just buy without hesitating, otherwise, you lose all these golden opportunity, make hay while the sunshine.

Hi zelphon,
Always remember "Wat is o/b can be even more o/b n wat is o/s can be even more o/s".
The key lies in knowing how to detect reversal sign in charts.
Zelphon ( Date: 30-Jul-2009 21:24) Posted:
That is why we have TA !!!
And based on TA... most stocks are in overbought region...
Waiting for correction.. |

Don't worry laa.....you are not alone....I can only said that we are not greedy enough....which is a good thing at times...heeee....

still regret about 3 counters:
1st is Olam, bought at 1.15 ,sold at 1.2, now around 2.5
2nd is yanlord, bought at 0.7,sold at 0.8, now around 2.6
3rd is straight aisa, bought at 0.67, sould at at 0.8,now around 2.1.
What a regret for these 3 counters! a few car lost already!just make some kopi money for other share!so best investment strategy is to buy and hold!
Shit! |

but i also wish to differ in this sense of what we have learned from the recent big economic crash in stocks market ...it is always a security to lock in some gains now...at least...u have the profits to keep ...while u let the rest of it rise...and buy on dips...
tt's wad history learning is for..
