if i am not a client to saxotrader, can i still download the software? if possible, then where can i get the free software? However, i wonder if saxotrader caters for the need of share market as it is mainly for forex traders.......
Is saxotrader a TA software which needs to download stock data everyday so that we could access the chart while we r offline or it is a software which will access all the data stored on its website....

I've not used ChartNexus before so I can't comment much about it.
Yup. Saxotrader is free and no subscription fees at all. It has real time TA charts, DJ news etc.. of all the major stock markets in the world. I use it mainly to play forex or CFDs. The stock screener is quite useful.
The only troublesome thing is that you have to deposit the trading money with them whe you first create an account. However, the money is yours and it is used for trading. They only charge a small commission for every transaction you make.

your earlier post: only one 'x'. that is true , you can always check sgx website. this only one is Xpress.
i guess not many people like to have an X but it is upto the company.
There are so many kinds of free chart softwares available, sgx, yahoo finance, your online broker, blah blah, blah
once you get used to and it serves the purpose, i think you can stay with it.
after all it is a charting software, our interpretations on buy sell signal are likely complex methods using 'some here, some there'

Sounds painful .... to have to reinstall everytime you want to use it.
Have you all tried Saxotrader? It is pretty good. I've been using it for some time already. |

I having problem to download the latest data as well. each time I have to manual install and manual update, any good solution?
just noticed there is only one counter started with "X" in sgx.....

like that huh, then start all over again, uninstall the software, re-apply a new account/password , re-install, good luck
