Mr Tang heath is not good not just only kidney.. Solve 1 problem but health also not good.. (Need more than 1 spare parts.)

In my opinion should have given to a young one where the chances are higher for a full life. Anyway it is his kidney, whether he wants to give to anyone it is his rights.(At least is doing something right)

teeth53 thot: Should S$50k be set as the minimun bench mark ? 86% said so...

 http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/singaporelocalnews/view/401807/1/.html

A month-long exercise to get the public's views on the proposed amendments to the Human Organ Transplant Act (HOTA) has ended. In releasing the findings, the Health Ministry said 86% of the respondents were in favour of some form of payment to living organ donors and that a majority felt that a reasonable amount should go beyond S$50,000. Money would be needed by such living donors to cover their direct expenses such as transport, indirect expenses such as loss of time and earnings and future medical expenses.

Many details remain unsettled though, such as how much money is enough for compensation and how should this be given out.

Anybody takes on this counter? Attempts were made to delist the counter based on its valuable assets it is sitting on. Although retail is faring average, its property value is appreciating by leap and bound. Any comments.
