We should ask the govt to divide our people into two classes. One people who wants to contribute to the economy by adding 10 to 20 percent of each item they bought and count it as volunteering helping society.   Another class of people who are poor in income to pay less for things they pay because they really cannot afford to pay more.   This way the advocates of pay for higher, will cancel out the pay for less and we will have our status quo.   Nobody should complain with this system.

even a clear and transparent govt to continue with no change of present HDB ruling i sgood for the PAP's status in the world(thus Singapore) but citizens are not beneficial much better than before as HDB was supposed to be meant for affordable basic accomodation(the ownership scheme since our independency) but it's going to be in between the pte and previous HDB as pte developers coming into designing it. Guess if there is a chance we wont rather pay less and have a living space unit not the outer design.

immigrant from 3rd world or corrupting countries would love here, countriess that have no jobs would love here. need talents and labour to be brought in, is ok. But there are abundant of immigrations influx is no good. only for rental and properties. do you think philipinos and china chinese who work here would buy much things in dept store or restaurants. some white colors yes. but.

Here is quite disorganised at time. in the pst you would never see, bicycles swaying along the walking pavement, now it's so disturbing that lots of cost saving china chinese using the pavement as if back home in china or their grant father's road. just one example.

relax buddies, while you are complaining on expensive HDBs, your neighbours are busy asking for higher COVs for their HDB to be sold to PRs, while you are complaining about foregin talents, there are some jobs just not meant for us, we simply can't do it or do not wish to do it, singapore is just a tiny island, be realistic, we cant expect big and cheap bungalows like our neighbour countries, and we cant expect these few millions people in Singapore are so talented and can do all sort of jobs, all I hope is that the elected government is clean and transparent, whatever actions they take, think of long term instead of short term pleasure..think about it..

They scare they cant work (weak or sickness) or get pay (will pay u very little cause u r weak and cant do much)  after 55 years to pay them! Then why govt want the old to work older till 65!

HDB loans whether from government or from banks must only be charged with interbank rates and not private clients' rates. 

Loan criteria must be flexible, not too rigid (like religion) and instalment plans stretched according to applicants' income and not according to a " qualifier high income."   Preferably that loans can be payable for more than 50 years and not twenty five years with declining rates of interest over the years because the flat is always saleable. The option of number of instalments must be given to the applicants whether he wants to pay off fast or as his income can sustain.   In case of non saleable flats, then HDB should accept returning the flats back to the govt.   This way is to erase hardship of owning a HDB flat and payment of instalments.

Sad case, shameful to saqy that because of competition and high for housing, one of my grown up children is homeless right now, and struggling to apply for a HDB flat but   cannot meet loan criteria. He is as Singaporean as anyone and having served the nation for 3 years. Your children will one day in the near future suffer more than him or not will depend on how our country make changes, to housing plan, and price control of public housing.   Afterall, in the past the govt has acquired land for housing cheaply.

 Alert Admin 		Look at a family as an example of a running a country.   If the parents make it and manage the family well, yet the kids continue to have full of problems unsolved, I think the parents have not done a perfect job yet. The parents spending all the time to make money for the " benefit" of the family neglects the well being of their children.   It is questionable whether this is a good idea of running a family, I am not sure.

Private property prices hiking is never the issue that worries us common wage earners.  It is the side effect on housing for the poor and underprivileged.    How many properties can we buy? If we buy one, two, three when they are cheaper, we can become richer when the prices go up, right?  But not for HDB flats where you will own one and only one, and you and most avergage Singaporeans can only buy one HDB flat and own it twice  with " subsidies" in your life time, because beyond the second time you are no longer eligible to  buy direct from Housing Board  . Even if the price of a HDB went to become S1 million, you are still an average person because you cannot sell your house and buy another flat for two reasons. One, you have to pay for another dwelling, so imagine how dear it would be and whether you could afford it with it evger soaring.  Don't physco people that it is good and you are reaping a profit.  It is zero sum.  You gain but you don't reap until the day you and your wife die and your children or grandchildren sell your  HDB flat.  But they will in turn face problem on housing. There is no profit for trading in HDB flats, impossible unless you give up your citizenship and question your own loyalty to Singapore. For those who claim that appreciating HDB flat prices is good, I will say " humbug." ..." flawed" and " alibaba."

What u said is  right, most people would want to see their flat value to goes up. But, that well apply to flat that bought last 10 to 20 years. Eg, most avg low income family earn around 3000 p/m last avg 15 years buy a 4rm flat at 90k to 130k+ would happy to see their flat value goes up. But what about low income family now? Many low income new couple still earn avg 3000+ p/m but now a basic 4rm cost 250k to 350k+ (havent include COV 20k+ and basic Reno now also cost 20 to 40k+). They just want a flat to start a family, not buy and sell later for higher px. And with HDB rule u can only had 1 flat, so when u sell high, u also will buy higher in the end so u still earn shit. Food raising but still can cope as $3-5 per meal still can afford, but with low income paying high installment for avg $300k flat for 30 years make them suffer. Everytime u will hear people complaining, everything goes up so much but pay still same! U think how much they can save p/m with low input with very high output? Now also many new Gens couple complain that how to start a family with singapore now? They got not much CPF so need to top up tons of cash to buy flat(resale flat need COV 20k+, new flat u need to wait long long Q like 4-D TOTO), wedding cost a tons now and after that they had to work like hell to pay those load for 30 years. What about kid? How much u think u need to support a kid from 0-20 years+? 100-200k too! Dont be surpise around year 2020 u still get the same pay with some peanut increase and a new 4rm flat will cost 500-700k+, and maybe per/meal will cost u $6-10 with superfast inflation. Foreign worker come here earn and go back richer, their country things and house so cheap so can undercut us. But what can we do? We earn little and pay so much here. U think your medisave enough if u unlucky land up in hospital? Either U die or your saving wipe out! Or worst need to loan from friend and relative. Now singapore trend is, Rich get richer and Poors get poorer! Singapore always want to be world nos 1 and r advancing too fast for its own people, and singapore dont forget, it our own people who build this nation with sweat and blood! We fight for our country, and when war comes, foreign will all U-turn back to their own country, so in the end who will stay and fight? Rich is human and poors is not human ah!! Maybe 1 day your child want to get marry and ask u for $$$ cause they cant afford it. And the worst thing is u also got no $$$ to support them, and when they sick, either u use up most medisave on them or left nothing to yourself when old, that the outcome for begin poors that they also no choice. Many of my friend and worker i know everyday scold P@P u know, they always said, those high pay high edu sit in aircon office rich @SS know how poors live?

If we buy one, two, three when they are cheaper, we can become richer when the prices go up, right?  But not for HDB flats where you will own one and only one, and you and most avergage Singaporeans can only buy one HDB flat and own it twice  with " subsidies" in your life time, because beyond the second time you are no longer eligible to  buy direct from Housing Board  . Even if the price of a HDB went to become S1 million, you are still an average person because you cannot sell your house and buy another flat for two reasons. One, you have to pay for another dwelling, so imagine how dear it would be and whether you could afford it with it evger soaring.  Don't physco people that it is good and you are reaping a profit.  It is zero sum.  You gain but you don't reap until the day you and your wife die and your children or grandchildren sell your  HDB flat.  But they will in turn face problem on housing. There is no profit for trading in HDB flats, impossible unless you give up your citizenship and question your own loyalty to Singapore. For those who claim that appreciating HDB flat prices is good, I will say " humbug." ..." flawed" and " alibaba."

 Alert Admin 		that's the venue of the aggressive stall. I don't know about any stall practising unethical food recycling. But if we suspect any, would it help to call NEA to conduct a check?

 Alert Admin 		What u said is  right, most people would want to see their flat value to goes up. But, that well apply to flat that bought last 10 to 20 years. Eg, most avg low income family earn around 3000 p/m last avg 15 years buy a 4rm flat at 90k to 130k+ would happy to see their flat value goes up. But what about low income family now? Many low income new couple still earn avg 3000+ p/m but now a basic 4rm cost 250k to 350k+ (havent include COV 20k+ and basic Reno now also cost 20 to 40k+). They just want a flat to start a family, not buy and sell later for higher px. And with HDB rule u can only had 1 flat, so when u sell high, u also will buy higher in the end so u still earn shit. Food raising but still can cope as $3-5 per meal still can afford, but with low income paying high installment for avg $300k flat for 30 years make them suffer. Everytime u will hear people complaining, everything goes up so much but pay still same! U think how much they can save p/m with low input with very high output? Now also many new Gens couple complain that how to start a family with singapore now? They got not much CPF so need to top up tons of cash to buy flat(resale flat need COV 20k+, new flat u need to wait long long Q like 4-D TOTO), wedding cost a tons now and after that they had to work like hell to pay those load for 30 years. What about kid? How much u think u need to support a kid from 0-20 years+? 100-200k too! Dont be surpise around year 2020 u still get the same pay with some peanut increase and a new 4rm flat will cost 500-700k+, and maybe per/meal will cost u $6-10 with superfast inflation. Foreign worker come here earn and go back richer, their country things and house so cheap so can undercut us. But what can we do? We earn little and pay so much here. U think your medisave enough if u unlucky land up in hospital? Either U die or your saving wipe out! Or worst need to loan from friend and relative. Now singapore trend is, Rich get richer and Poors get poorer! Singapore always want to be world nos 1 and r advancing too fast for its own people, and singapore dont forget, it our own people who build this nation with sweat and blood! We fight for our country, and when war comes, foreign will all U-turn back to their own country, so in the end who will stay and fight? Rich is human and poors is not human ah!! Maybe 1 day your child want to get marry and ask u for $$$ cause they cant afford it. And the worst thing is u also got no $$$ to support them, and when they sick, either u use up most medisave on them or left nothing to yourself when old, that the outcome for begin poors that they also no choice. Many of my friend and worker i know everyday scold P@P u know, they always said, those high pay high edu sit in aircon office rich @SS know how poors live?
