You make money and put it to good use, like helping people or donating some to others who need it, I would be very happy. You would be happy too, without knowing it at first. I am actually quite old now and know there's much more to life than money. Afterall, a person kick the bucket also cannot take the money with him or her. Nothing beats the feeling of well-being from helping others (yes, including animals! www.heart4Animals.com ) Can you count the number of rich people who boast about their wealth but actually are never contented or happy? Alas, I'm straying..... all I ask is, you make money and are happy, good for you, but be considerate of others' situation. No need to shout or brag. ...and of course, this is a free world, you can choose what you want to do. Feel free to ignore this comment if you want. I'm not your daddy or mommy, just a member of this forum. |

When one plays the stock market, it is utmostly important to cultivate a serious, mature approach to it by treating it as but a speculative medium... An emotional approach is hardly a mature approach... However, once one has mastered a mature approach, one can then enjoy the stock market for what it is... hehehe... |

Everyone is free to "cheer" their own positions in the stock market - may it be a bullish or bearish position. To criticize someone who is "cheering" a position that is opposite of yours as immature - is indeed the very essence of immaturity itself - not to mention jealously or "red eye" as you put it.

just open a few accounts that allow you to long or short..so when situation like this happen, you are able to balance your portfolio. some people will 'cry' in crisis, some people will 'laugh' all the way to the bank..that's normal. |

Many people are in long position on stocks. I know you are happy that the stock market did not do too well last Friday because you want to short and make money out of it, but I find it bad taste that you seem so gleeful and inconsiderate about the situation of others. In addition, the title of your post seems to be attempting to affect the psychology of the readers here, to your advantage. Sad, but I believe what goes around comes around.
