You are fast Mr Investor. I was just checking for Weigao's 3rd quarter results announcement yesterday but it didn't came out yet. Now we have the figures and safely conclude that JW will make US$16m this year. My forecast for JW next year will be at least US$25m profit before tax. |

Shandong Weigao has just announced their Q3 results, and their 50 % share of JW Medical has shown a net profit of 18,285 milliom RMB. (Qtr 2 profit was 15,962). A qtr-on-qtr growth of 14.5 %. Annualise it over 4 qtrs, their 50 % share of JW Medical will yield a net profit of 73,140m RMB. Using an ex rate of 7.4 for rmb to 1 US dollar, the annualised profit attributable to shandong Weigao is US$9.9m approx. This will also be the net profit available to Biosensors, for next yr, assuming that JW Medical does not have any growth going forward. Therefore, it seems that Biosensors' guidance for JW Medical the next 12 mths seems a bit conservative, as they are projecting a revenue of US$40m, with net profit of US$16m (their 50 % share will be US$8m)., especially as they are saying that China will be growing at 30-50 % per yr ? Above for info only. |

For your reading pleasure. So CE approval is anytime between now and Mar.? <Biosensors International Group (BIG) reported 2Q08 results with product sales rising 10% YoY to US$9.2m despite the difficult industry conditions but expectedly reverted back to a net loss of US$11m for the quarter. Overall gross margins dropped due to operational restructuring and shift in focus of products. We expect BIG's 50% acquisition of JWMS in China to be accretive and give it a spring board for the Chinese DES market that is anticipated to grow some 50-70% in the next 2 years. BIG also expanded to Indonesia but we don't expect significant contribution in the near term. Despite patchy info on forecasts and regulatory approval, we remodel our financials as we assume CE mark approval between Jan and Mar 08, Terumo licensing revenue to start in CY09 and consolidate JWMS. We adopt the typical Medtech valuation of discounting BIG's first substantial year of profit (in FY10) back to present day (see Table 2). Our fair value is now S$0.99 (vs S$1.21).> |

cwwan1.. i m not full time trader.. need to work too.. but.. if Bio gets its CE.. it will b cheonging.. not cheong oni. thus, if u do check shares on a daily basis.. u will not lose out.. no worries.. once CE obtained.. the foundation done will b laid.. tat's to say that one after another news will b announced. No need lah. Got people here already have the power to lure BB out already and sacrifice his Queen for a Checkmate. Im not expert in luring them out but im confident latest by early Jan 2008 this will be a $1.30 stock. |

Maybe if everyone sells and the px drops to 0.80 or below, then the BBs will suddenly gan chiong and buy up to 0.90 like last friday?

I have always maintained that we must know who is the big boss in the market. Im not suggesting this stock will go higher or lower over the next few days. Im not suggesting we challenge the big boss of the market or we have certain ability/power to "lure them out". Im saying the BBs are also heavily vested in this stock with average price of above 80cts and my feeling is this stock will be pushed up to $1.30 after CE approval. And, CE approval event is a certainty this time round and it will come out by early Jan 2008 (a very conservative date). But CE could also be out this month or next month. |
