This counter has been trading in a very narrow band for a long time Bollinger bands very tight also. Given the bearish sentiment in banking stocks, better to be cautious with this counter. |

Now, it is at 8.38 while STI is at 1685.23. It was at yr low of 8.87 while STI was at 1472.77. If u ar not sure d bottom, then buying now may make good feeling as looking d above. Still needs to consider its a heavy $ stuff. Read, See n Feel more b4 u make d final answer,at current market sentiment. AK view only.

From CIMB: Maintain Underperform; target price adjusted for rights issue. 0.8x P/BV valuation target, deriving a post-rights target price of S$8.82 or current cum-rights target price of S$10.60. Our target price has been lowered from S$11.36 to S$10.60, taking into account the recapitalisation and dilution effects. After persistent underperformance, upside for DBS is now slightly better than for its peers.
