STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors Post Reply Rate topic

x 1   x 0  Alert Admin	And if you talk abt value investing, you got to start young, for me at most i got another 40 if i m lucky to be 100. even 10 yr from now, I think i will be limping, so what so good abt having 10 Ezion in my pocket. WB start from young, if you are young, u are lucky, time is on your side, u can do value investing.u can take advantage of another few mkt crashes. btw, if i m unlucky, another 30sec, but i think another 20 yr will be more realistic for me.because that is slightly more than the ave age for singapore man.75 20 yrs, another 10 , money many also hang over to other. so cant afford to look for another Ezion, too late for me, only can play penny and enjoy now. live one day at a time. good luck guy.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	BTW, talking abt holding till cow come home, I know one guy he really hold Venture from 35c, 30 lots till now, because he was lucky to hold Venture, the profit and div erase all his other losses, and  still end up hugh profit. But how many of us will be so lucky like him. He is my uncle, unbelievable, right? but it is the truth, i m not making story. he hold Gaoxian also,  and some s-chip i cannot remember he told me suspended. Provided you are lucky to hold another venture in the making, pls have a stop loss. But you ask yourself, how many penny grow up to be blue chip like venture, if they can be like Ezion , u already strike gold. And then you ask again, how many penny out there will be like Ezion?? x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Needing money is not a good reason to play stocks.   Because stocks is a very, very tricky game... much more than casinos.       If one needs money, it is safer to simply play a bit of 4D.             With stocks, one can lose like sheet before one realises it.                     But even in 4D, if one does not have a system, eg. keep on " mau-ing " ,                           then losses can be just as huge over a period of time...
