why don't give to the ones that you know that really need our help directly. At least we know they get the money.....thru charity organisation, a lot of $$$ lost in between, and to someone's pocket. |

His analysis has always been consistent, indepth and never for once did he changed his tune even when market was tanking. He is better than any analyst out there. i'm reading thru the many kudos posted in appreciation of bengster..and i was tinking to myself..will it make any difference if there is 1 more from me.. i actually started following his thread from cna..till he stopped cos of all the abuse..and i had to search ard to find tis place..i'm quite amazed by his patience.. of cos..caveat emptor...and every guy has their own motives..but his FA is peerless...i've seen the price go up and go down like rollercoaster..i know price is beyond his control...but i learnt ...that its better to buy a good company on the cheap than buy a bad company on the breakout..(sure, if ure a full-time trader who makes >10trades a day, there is no such thing as a bad company. all it matters is volatility) so bengster, u deserve the plaudits...and even if my post is going to get lost in the whole pile of plaudits..i just have to express it.. thanks man.. |

Kamsiah for all the compliments. There are many forumers who that has provided good insights to this company and their strategies and i salute all of them for their selfless contributions. I also heavily vested lah so i have vested interest also. So my postings is mostly biased on the bullish side. I may be dead wrong on my forecasts and expected events also. So, please do your own analysis before you buy/sell. I have to take care of this BIG baby since BIG don't really care much about their investor PR job. Im doing BIG a free PR service, no salary, no share options, but hopefully more investors can realise this hidden gem and bring better valuation this company deserves. Also, i beg to differ on the forecasted profits that BIG has provided. There are many "trump cards" and im still sticking to my forecasted net profit of US$25m for FY2008 (ending Mar 2008) and at least US$100m for FY2009. FY2008 ends in only 2.5 months away. Lets wait and see if my forecast is right. For those who cannot take the roller coaster ride and want to cash out for some profits when trading halt lifted, please do so. You have your own investment strategy and principles. I kena accused for playing up the stock by posting about takeover analysis. No doubt CE approval offers an opportunity to exit this stock at a reasonable price. But as i say, share price prediction is a 50:50 chance. The share price may go up further after you sell (vice versa) and nobody knows for sure. I feel short term share price predictions are pure guess. You may be right a few times but wrong one bet can erase all away all your past gains and turn into losses. Good investing. |

Hi Bengster, All of us can never thank you enough for all the unselfish analysis and priviledge infos you have contributed in the forum. Now you did even more with your new talent in amusing others. Your funny comments about whether that old man is still around after all these long wait really gave me hearty laugh. Frankly, just like the old man from your amusing perspective, I can relate to the long journey very well. Personally I went through a lot of trials and tribulations since investing in this stock until this historical moment today. Glad that Part I is over. Thanks to you Bengster. BIG expects a return to profitability in the second half of its 2009 financial year. The firm, which in Nov posted a net loss of US$3 million for its half year fiscal 2008, expects higher revenue from the heart stents to return it to profitability in fiscal year 2009. "We believe in the first half we would continue to make losses, but in the fourth quarter or second half we will be in a position to break-even or even turn a profit," Lu said. Kevin Sayer, the firm's CFO, said total revenue for 2009 is expected to come in at around US$100 million to US$115 million, with revenue from heart stents contributing almost half. The firm, which has been expanding in Asia, will start marketing its BioMatrix heart stent in China in 2010. Chua Kee Lock, the company's president, told Reuters in an interview in Sep that Biosensors was looking to penetrate India, Taiwan and South Korea within the next 12 months. The firm bought over a Chinese medical company earlier this month. Biosensors, with a market cap of US$765 million, competes with healthcare giants such as Johnson & Johnson Lu said he was not ruling out a takeover. "Everything is possible, we do not rule out any possibilities going forward," Lu said. |
