My guess is we may be getting some $$ from the Terumo. Distribution Power-house from other country might be wanting to get the distribution right of the Biomatrix so thus they pay Biosensors $$$ for the right.Hope I am right... vested | ||||||||

The previous CEO may not be very experienced in running the operations of a multi-national medical device companies. I think he is good in providing growth direction, unique products to address market needs, M&A deals and strategic partnership. He has a good vision and strategic planner. The current President looks very over-worked to me since he came in in Oct 2006. So i am not surprised he passed some of his work portfolio to the new CEO. In fact, long time ago i already feel BIG's CEO should get another good right-hand to able him to bring this company to a higher level. To me, the appointment of the new CEO is a good thing. I believe the new CEO has very good experience, esp in Europe market, for medical device industry. Sorin group is based in Italy and is in cardio medical devices including BMS and DES. He should be able to execute BIG's European plans well while the current President handles the Asian market. As for BIG's ex-CEO or President, i don't think there is such a think as "back seat". They still have a lot of work to do. The whole company will be very busy since the CE approval but i believe it will be a "happy busy" time for all of them. Yes, let me say this again: BIG is the last and most beautiful bride worthwhile for marriage proposal in the entire DES industry. Cheap dowry will not be accepted. We know how much we are really worth in the market. |

Hi Bengster, can you give us your take on this appt of a new CEO... To me (I may be wrong,) it looks like key people are now taking a "backseat" perhaps with a view of some M&A.. Why step aside now at the time when the company is at the cusp of greater things to come?? It looks like they have pretty up the bride and is now looking for a big dowry... my wild and unsubstantiated theory only... please don't act on it.... don't want to get slammed by ppl. | ||||||||

Hi Everyone, Thank you all for responding. There is no blaming anyone, we read the forum, make our comments, share our info, and invest our money based on OUR OWN decision, win or loose we take responsibility. I hope Bengster is correct, that BIG will report an Overall Net Profit for 3rd Qtr FY08 (end March 08). My point is, let us be more objective, and do not be carried over by our enthusiasm. I wish to thank Bengster for keeping everyone informed on the latest development. Let us all hold and see BIG go beyond 1 dollar ! |

I think Bengster is overly optimistic on BIG. His over enthusiasm may cause reader to respond wrongly. BIG will only be profitable from 2nd half of FY 2009 onward, still a full year away ! BIG will be reporting loss again in 3rd Qtr FY2008. My opinion is that we should take profit if opportunity arises, and buy again toward end 2008 or early 2009, any comments? |

THis stock had gave many heartattacks to many who played it in the past and it would continue to be so. BIG is in a business where the more heartattacks ... the better its business... logical

yoz, BIG can be traded with TA just that abit more complex and may need more experience. if not i and other wouldnt be able to get inti it at 70c region to ride it till 90+. |

yoz, not necessary the gap need to be filled or fully filled, sometimes the act of partial filling for gap is enough as there is str support hence the BBs did not allow it to drop further. Today is T+3, selling is expected. however london may open up later and if u see, since it gap down, it is forming the ascending triangle (if that is what u call) with higher low. if i wanna trade it, i will consider to buy on breakout. |
