BUT if you buy into a company with   large amount of shares belongs to others, you have to report to them and get their approval on whatever you want to do. Machiam,   the steering wheel not fully i your control. One will say turn left another say don't turn yet other say turn left Budoh. and when you wants to spend some money   to invest in other   company's shares that you think would give you multiple fold returns, someone wi say aiyo don't la, this no good. that better. So you see,   if you see a company with vast potential, its best to buy all bit by bit and work for yourself instead of work to benefits other and   let other pull handbrakes. Unless you prefer to be a sleeping partner, let other work and you hope to gain - than its a different story. :) Action to be seen. he just came on  board. Likely, and Probably he might have asked the CEO to give him a thorough briefing. Definitely he want a say in   the company's   move and  strategy. Its in his very own interested. He not come in to just park his cash and hope for the best ? Like many of   you out there :) Or   not simply someone whom shout chiong ar..........sell.   Then go round try to talk down   the stocks then buy in again and shout   chiong ar again :) He is likely someone whom wants long term investor all hold hand   for mid to long term benefit then - contra, shout   or play play only :)  moneycow      ( Date: 01-Feb-2013 12:40) Posted: maybe IPCO going to streamline its own business soon. Those are skeletal direction.   Road ahead must be clear. ...........then other major investor can come on board to be co  strategist  for common interest ?  Divest those burden subsidiaries, buy into good profits oriented companies........way to go.......... BUT Ultimately,   wonder if Dato will offer a mass buy in and take it private ? say, 5 cents for every share that is 200%. Maybe every one will dump it to him ? and overnight he owns an  empire  to himself.  Speculating.... whats coming...

For me while at work, bcos i dont work a desk job, i had to trade on Ipad/Iphone 80% of the time.
