Ah ok thanks, so they will buy the shares in this market and sell it in Korea? Or will our stocks just be considered listeed in Korea?

BDI is likely to remain weak over the summer months, says UOB Kay-Hian. "Summer has been a traditionally low season for bulk commodities shipping due to decreasing shipments of grains and steam/thermal coal," broker says in note. Adds efforts to relieve port congestion, concerns over cooling iron ore demand from China, profit taking in forward market likely compounding usual seasonal pattern. Tips BDI to rebound in 3Q08, post-Beijing Olympics, as shipments of grains, steam coal tend to pick up in autumn; "we believe that the BDI will reach another peak in 3Q08 after the index correction in summer." | ||||

Migrating their shares mean gradually moving their shares to the Korean Stock Exchange. This means that price in S'pore will move closer to that in S. Korea which is trading at a premium. When all their shares have been migrated, they will delist from S'pore. "STX Pan Ocean's share price is a mirror image of the BDI, it's a trading stock and there's no point trying to bottom fish it when the BDI is going to keep falling; it's like trying to catch a falling knife," says analyst at local house. Foreign house analyst says parent STX Corp.'s plan to issue 5.39 million common shares to raise KRW307.84 b not impacting STX Pan Ocean share.

CIMB says stock not out of the woods yet, "we think further downside is likely if the BDI extends its fall." Tips BDI to retreat further as iron ore destocking at Chinese ports reduces new shipments, miners take steps to lessen port congestion and demurrage charges. is it safe to short . ...at march...was ard 2.38....2 mths later back at tt point....selling this 1st thing in the morning.....tink will wait ard at $2.38.....this is one hell of a roller coaster ride...will it rebound tomolo ???? |

Geez, this counter is like a falling knife esp with the bdiy falling like hell. But then again, its over reacting in a way. Better sell on rebound to buy it cheaper and hold till end of this year. |
