After the brief uptrend in price, the TA charts now look bearish again. Like I mentioned before, low volume uptrends are hard to sustain. |

I was once a big fan of creativetech, i mean their products like sound blaster and the first magnesium case mp3, not the stock itself. In the past, I heaped praises on creativetech when friends asked about what cool gadgets to buy that they might want to buy creativetech products rather than apple which was alot of hypes to me. Well, it turns out that creativetech was a big disappointment. They just don't get it. I walked around many of their stores in singapore and went away asking " Are the shops design and decor what the young crowds would considered "COOL"? I played some tracks that creativetech had pre-loaded and were I impressed?? Everyone knows when you put out a display product for potential customers to try out, you want to put in the best quality audio contents but this bit creativetech seem ignorant. This day, I don't tell people anymore about creativetech. Creativetech is no longer competing with the like of Sony, Apple anymore. It has changed its strategy to one of survival by turning into an OEM/ODM contract manufacturers for others. If you're interested in CreativeTech stock, the comparable is Venture Manufacturing. Between the two, I feel the money is better put on Venture but I'm not completely writing-off Creative until it proved otherwise. Good luck to all vested. |

Don't you know that Creative Technology's float in the market is low and it is tightly held by the Company and Mr Sim. With the Christmas round the corner, it is traditional that Creative Technology's sales will go up. Cheers |

SINGAPORE (Thomson Financial) - Shares of Creative Technology were sharplyhigher Tuesday on laggard buying as investors hoping the Singapore consumerelectronics maker's earnings will further improve in its second quarter toDecember continued to accumulate the stock. At 10.20 am (0220 GMT), Creative was up 70 Singapore cents or 10.6 percent at7.30 dollars, off a high of 7.40 dollars, with 271,100 shares traded. The stock has been rising since Creative announced better-than-expectedfirst-quarter results on Wednesday. Creative posted net profit of 1.3 million USdollars, reversing a loss of 21.01 million dollars a year earlier, due largelyto an exceptional gain and wider margins. Creative has been the worst performer among the components of the benchmarkStraits Times Index this year, declining by as much as 40 percent beforerebounding in recent days. The stock is not pricey and the company's outlook is slowly improving, saidOCBC Securities analyst Carey Wong. The products Creative has lined up for the Christmas season will generatebetter sales because its designs, particularly of MP3 players, have improved,Wong believes. "Christmas sales will be definitely positive," Wong said. Sales in Europe have been increasing, which should help offset weaker sales inthe US, he said. |
