Not much upside for this counter record profits and revenue for FYE 31Mar 2012 yet price stagnated at 25-26cts the CEO and His ED sold 14mil and 12mil not long ago create an overhang..dividends 17cts verses 14cts last year though no bonus despite this is the 20th year of co's inception..CEO not consider dual listing in H> K though co's primary operations in PRC..realted co's transactions of HKD 3mil since ipo inception in 2007 as verified by indep director..very embarassing when U see everybody rushed for food and like last year at Amaara Hotel nothing is left after the 10th person help himself..same scenario at M.Hotel today...cheapskate co..probably co directors flown in and package deal stayed at M Hotel and the meagre food is served free..ie co doesn't border to cater food for everyone though this is a once a year affair..lucky i went after a heavy breakfast | ||

AGM today I am going to ask the related party transaction all linked to directors HKD > 3mil every sales ....20th anniversary no bonus and the directors enrich themselves with so many stock options year after year | ||

MM...consider to accumulate Fragrance 1 for 1 bonus approved by SGX..need only EGM to be approved by shareholders..STI dropped from 3000 to 2750..Fragrance shot up from 35 to 48cts hovering from 40-48cts since April..2 rounds of dividends final and interim,share price still holding well...Frgarance linked to billionaire Mr Koh Wee Meng..last year I bought too at 44cts after bonus approved soar to 76cts I took profits Now interim proposed 1 for 1 bonus again...same scenario at 48cts and when EGM to be convened soon the shares will rocket again...how much can U lose if say at 48cts 1 for 1 ex bonus will be 24cts which is unlikley as its subsidiary is already 24cts,no logic for Fragrance to be below GPH...I am still buying at this level...same Fragrance thread

blueberry - cleared...Aiya..STI gained 40 over points and European markets are all rallying thanks to ECB's committment to flood the market with liquidity as part of contingency plan in the event of a bad Greek Election outcome... High possibility that Valuetronics may surge to a price range of 25.5 - 26 cents on this Monday.... Price to pay for being too kiasi.... Hope I am able to get it back at 24.5 c prior to the dividend payout on 27 July .... |

Yes ever sold at a peak of 38cts before(lucky) and bought backk 11-14cts and has been holding for its dividends,thies is a HK co unlike S chips this is quite safe

Valuetronic paid dividend of - HK$0.045 in 2009 HK0.07 in 2010 HK0.14 in 2011. Though dividend is in HK$, the money will be credited by CDP directly in your account in S$. The actual amount I received are - S$0.00833 (closing price 13.5c giving yield of 6.17%) in 2009. S$0.01224 (cd price 19.5c giving yield of 6.28%) in 2010. S$0.02149 (cd price 28c giving yield of 7.675%) in 2011. This year's dividend is HK$0.17. At exchange rate of 0.1618 and price of 25c, the yield is about 11%. |
