ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited  announced that its 51% subsidiary, CityFleet Networks Limited (CFN), has acquired 600,000 fully paid ordinary shares of Sterling Pound (£)1.00 each in the capital of Computer Cab plc (ComCab) from Licensed Taxi Drivers Association, representing 20% of the issued and paid-up share capital of ComCab. The purchase consideration for the sale shares comprises a total cash consideration of £3,055,000 (approximately S$6,191,000) arrived at based on the net asset value of ComCab as at 31 December 2010. The acquisition will be financed by internal funds. After the acquisition, CFN’s interest in the shareholding of ComCab has increased from 80% to 100%. (Closing price: $1.530)
