I'm really puzzled. The notice says that the closure date is 17 Oct but today the XD sign has already appeared on the screen. Today is 15 Oct. Will I get dividend if I buy now? |

It seem like the share has XD aalready. Does it mean that if i buy now, I will not get any dividend? CIT is offerring more shares to other investors at a cost of 70 cents only. This is 10% below the current share price. Will this cause the share to plunge? |

It seems today it might open at a low of 50cents, could it be due to the issue of new units that diluted the value? |

Don't think one can go wrong with REITs. Yield is definitely interesting at current price levels. But buying seems like trying to catch a falling knife as it is not apparent where the bottom is. Maybe better to wait until some sense of stability is restored? |

However, can anyone comment on how it may affect the share price? |

Walk the talk is one thing, just pray they dont anyhow buy. Acquistion overpriced also dunno, buy just to reach their target. Frankly this is what I feared most in REIT counters. We never know the true valuation of these acquired properties and its ROI. |

CIT acquire another 3 more industrial buildings!!!! Their rate of acquisition is frightening!!! I believe this mad rush to acquire more industrial buildings is in preparation to compete with JTC REIT which is scheduled to be launched in 2008? They are hoping to secure more assets before JTC REIT get listed and get the lion share of the market! Now I believe JTC has lotsa of industrial buildings under their charge so the initial portfolio will be awesome! Any comments anyone? |

Thanks rogue trader, for your advice. Yup, sohguanh, i realized that $2 is being deducted, but didn't realize its every quaterly ;-). My agent bank is DBS, I wonder if during the "holding time" before agent bank DBS transfers the money back to CPF-OA (about 6weeks at least i think), will CPF take that time into consideration when paying me annual interest? |

TradeChancellor, if you had vested in this counter using your CPF-OA, then the dividends will first, be credited into your CPFIS-OA agent bank (DBS, OCBC or UOB).. Then if there are no more transactions with your CPFIS-OA account (for a certain period of time), then the dividends will be credited back into your CPFOA account. Hope this helps. |
