not much gain in profit compared to last year. i got it at 1.34, think got it too high le, tomorrow sure fall below this |

Yah gotta read the report carefully otherwise misled. well another way of looking at it is sell first, buy back cheaper ba. Not everyone will know how to read, perhaps they will be shock by the numbers -91%! Still pondering on what to do tomorrow |

At least u know how to read results. But the price may soften if many expect better results. But when the effect of EC approval for Biomatrix is reflected in future reports, the profits will surely grow handsomely. China approval is still unknown when announced it will definitely spike up again. Its an even bigger market for Biosensors than EU. Also we don know what they are raising money for. So long term investors will probably have the last laugh. Short term traders will probably throw now and hope to buy cheaper or quit altogether. Thats only my opinion.

9 months ended there is a 33% gain ba But i think most investors wont be too impress and sell off. |

actually last year 3q there was gain on remeasurement of buying 100% JWS. That was why the profits was artificially inflated to 287639'000 because of a one time gain of 273245'000. so if subtract out u get profit before tax of 14394'000. There is actually a q on q gain of 73% leh | ||||

Did you see the reason for the difference? As stated by Skk888 a one time gain in 2011.... Which is why term as exceptional items " gain on remeasurement of joint-venture company" ? Do you expect the same exceptional item gain year after year? Maybe i am wrong.... but i think this should be a more realistic results. |

It's a one time gain.....it's already taken into account that it won't happen again. Healthy company should be basing most of it's revenue from operations.

profits increased slightly if we exclude the one time gain in 2011 of 270+mil.. but it's current P/B ratio is at 1.5-1.6.. i think people are expected better results than this priced in market price.. yeah this one for longer term.. |

Definitely wont say is a bad result as:
" For the FY13 nine-month period, the Group’s operating profit was US$94.7 million, representing a 34% year-on-year increase from the same period last year." Maybe many are expecting much more... Will still stay vested as i am more into longer terms. Definitely a company with good fundamental and good potential. Just my humble opinion... |
