x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	LOL, it probably is ... have seen very very strange bid / offer movement with the most frequent 1 lot buy up / sell down. But the trend is the actual " true intention" of the smart money whether they're going in or out of a particular stock. I haven't seen the sign of bottoming or change in trend yet for Genting, so I still keep my bearish view. Any rebound is a chance to get out and shorting.

Indeed this will be a very good shorting candidate when the market sentiment starts to deteriorate again. There is better and stronger stock for long.   not vested

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	A clarification on " trading opportunity" ...   It should more accurately be termed " betting opportunity', since the outcome is speculative in nature.         Thus, even when one bases one's bets on a stock chart and bets at strategic points on the chart,             one still need a sound and unemotional system of  play in order not to lose much in the betting...

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	To Oldbird Let me define  what I meant by trading volume with mini wave, flat and not active share.. If you look at some stocks that interest the investors, be it long or short-sellers , you will see the stock will have most price movement because of interest be it buying or selling thus creating the price to swing up/down that causes mini-wave. For flat, Not much interest on the stock, very low trading volume, perhaps only XX K, eg: 40k,20k volume and it calls for the day, unlike those like big volume XX M volume.. Not active stock , the stock can be so not active until no interested to play it , when the market opens, it is the pre-close price, when the market closes for the day, it is still no volume, thus still stay pre-close price..I believe you have seen many stocks like that in SGX.. So, my reply below to regards to this is , when you see volumes, you will see the swing because of demand and supply , vice versa. Of course, we as human always greed that cause the downfall.. Have you ever been in situation where you win the trade, but hopeful it will goes up, but then it drops below the price you bought? So sometimes we just can't say " trading opportunity exists in few times a  year" or " stock like betting"   because sometimes is you that cause the downfall itself.. :) Anyway, this is only my personal view and share upon what I think .. :) Star-Trader

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	When playing stocks, the most dicey thing is a crash or unexpected big slump...     Such a slump is obviously entirely possible at any unexpected moment in time.           Thus, buying stocks frivolously (frequently) without due serious consderation for                 the Risk/Reward factor uppermost in mind is not a good way to play stocks.

Looks at those that with on trading volume, you will find the mini wave occuring which means every opportunity is there if you know the so-called " outcome" .. My personal view only.
