Currently DOW down by approx 72 pts. Investors are selling most shares broadbase and buying into Microsoft, currently traded at almost 200 million shares and Microsoft is up about 7%. Investors are dumping other shares to buy into Microsoft, presumably growth stocks with the lauch of Windows 7, likely to make big bucks. And if you notice investors are dumping Boeing in last few weeks as Boeing reported record loss. General rule of thumb, share price will rise when profit rise. Share price plunge when loss widens. So, will DOW and STI go up or down in the next 2 to 4 quarters ? Indication, at macro-economics will see whether the GDP will grow upwards or contradiction, will indicate up or down. What are the chances ? Likely to go upwards, with most economists saying the worst is likely to be over. Wait till USA reports robust 3rd quarter and 4th quarter growth and declare it is truly out of recession, then we will see that the real BULL is coming. Need to have patience. Whether we like it all not, it is Big Boys playing the market. Just follow along with the upward trend. So far, about 70 to 80% earning reports exceed market expections, China showing solid growth, hiring continue, USA property market showing sign of recover. However, Big Boys will push the stocks downwards for correction, the weak hands will sell and guess what, the shares will flow into the Big Boys. Thereafter, the Big Boys will push the price upwards and guess what it will sell back to the same people who sold the shares at the low price. In other words, follow the trend.... ppl buy DOW think is cheap.... since USD is weak... but earning in USD also less.... ppl bery confused... forget about DOW... go for industrial ZINC... super high demand... go n goole on ZINC and clean energy n u will know its potential... |

when dji [dow jones industrial index] goes up, the djt [dow jones transportation] shud b up n vice versa.....but industries index goes up whereas transportation index goes down....is tis not incredible???? | ||
