Today is 1st day of FEB ..... The FED boosted US market last nite after FOMC statement was released! Surely a NEW record closing for STI today! :) |

Today mkt is in muddy moody mode, more red then green. with a healthy volume of 2,179.2m shares traded. ST Index closd at 3,25.56 pt, -4.7 pt, for the 3rd day, Friday may not be so positive. Just my tot.

Hi Newmoon, I have look at the STI chart it sure seem to be heading for correction, just that not sure when or how much it will happen. should not be too far. in your opinion how much correction u think it will be 400, 800, 1000points? in other forum i read was 800.... |

seems like everyone is "waiting & waiting" for a correction, but as the stocks got higher & higher, people got panic & restless... and then FINALLY plunge into the mkt, & found that the big boys are ready to pack & go.... |

Let's hope for a CNY rally to kick-start the Pig Year shall we??? No doubt retail investors are licking their wounds as pennies like Yongnam, BBR , Sapphire, Jasper are moving backwards rather than forward. There should be 1 good rally coming as the budget can act as the catalyst to push STI further. | ||||
