if wanna tok in "logical sense", y sti sort of "defy" normal trend is because there quite a few pipeline of big corporations wanting to set up operations in singapore, the casinos and other economic stimulating factors.. as stocks "lead" the economy, one might be anticipating a "melt-down" sometime next year.. bt imo, i more afraid of the "property meltdown" in US as mentioned in my very early times posts.. too bad, singapore quite "small" in size to fully absord and distribute the wealth created by this future corporations.. | ||||

Seems quite ok today. There is not much impact on some stocks. Even Utac up! I'll just play the "cat and mouse" game with the market if it decides to drop further:) | ||||

Whatever lah... life goes on ...bull market, make bull money; bear market, make bear money. As human beings we will adapt to survive with whatever maket... Good to see investors not panic this morning again, though shortist are running wild trying to shock the market and cause panic. Also some vestors are taking money off the table but slowly in calculated manner.... Dee Mark to all zai zai investors.... :) Manage to load some more Ah Pohs this morning... May all be well... |

I started relocating equity money to bonds and money market too. :) I think it makes a lot of sense to do that at this stage. China goes, US goes and sooner or later it will be us in Asia. Yes, like what its said in the sci-fi drama HEROES. We can never be bigger then the world, here in the market is we can never be bigger then the market. Cashing out on YZJ and CES just. :) |

actually i simply "loves" correction bt not a crash.. nt all counters corresponds with the direction of the sti, bt most counters will follow during a crash.. sometimes i dun understand why some of my friends will make big hoohas on sti up or down.. machiam like got an "underground bookie" taking bets for sti and the payout is like, maybe 1 - 1000.. anyway, "catch low, sell high", "catch higher, sell higher", "force high, to sell high" and so on, doesn't really correlate with sti mah, it got to do with one ammos.. bt sometime a commander can get "short" too, y? nt because he got no ammos, bt in fact he got plenty of them, is just that he ordering his peng kias to use it and he nt using.. who will be the stronger after this "ordeal"? time will tell... | ||||

The store are stingy with the account thats why.. thou the dip was massive but the volume isnt there. i think the STIian are holding on unlike last 2 times.. now many is veterans liao... we will how it goes.. | ||||

irrational sentiments, who got tons of $$ can call the shots.. still remember last time dow dip only, sti drop.. come shanghai the big drop, most indices dived.. now, china drop drop, sti up up.. dow down a lot, sti dip nia.. singapore got no natural resources to "fend" off any advances, land oso little.. i nt surprised if BBs today "reverse" the predicted outcome lor.. |

the only question that confused me is that why is the BBs buying strongly when they knew the Dow is going to correct? do there have something we dun ? i am very serious to know if they going to cut lost today thou most likely the overall they will still win.. | ||||

This is just a Reference for forumers posting here, not inducement for trade. Dow correction usually correct till 100, 150 & 200 day sma as support level. it seem we will have a few hundred points more to go before it hit 100 days sma support.. |
