What "da ge" Shplayer said is so true...  For myself, if I have entered a long position, I will not try to praise my counter until it rises (as if it will, hehehe)... Rather, if my charts shows technical weakness, I dump... investing has never been so simple!

victorf, All of us retail investors are, consciously or unconsciously, trying to predict how the market and stock prices will move. We BUY when we think prices will move up and SELL when we think prices will move down. In a way, whether we are FA or TA practioners, we are all FORECASTING the direction of the market. I agree with cashiertan, we retail players do not have the resources to influence the market. It is predominently the work of the BBs. Small fishes like us are only trying to guess the direction the market will move. Whether or not forumers have ulterior motives in their post is unlikely to make any difference in the outcome to the market outcome. In anycase, we should always bear in mind that caveat emptor applies and no one should take the blame, or, should take credit for losses or gains as a result of acting on a forumer's post. |

Cashier is like me... (or I am like him)... :) When my charts say sell, I sell, when my charts say buy, I buy... Whether I am right or wrong, why should I quarrel at all??? hehehe... Hi Victorf Thanks or ur accurate prediction of the direction.I totally agree with u that the mkt will decide. Of course there are many ppl in the forum who post for their self interest. U are really the one i can rely on for the prediction for the mkt direction.....and together with my own rojak analysis,i managed to take position on Friday. Thanks again..... |

dun worry victorf, my postings are of neutral (i am not sure abt others) where i dun post long or short calls but a guideline, thus ppl are unlikely to say i am able profit from anything, anyway, what are we retailers able to do to the markets? 95% of the shares are owned by few ppl. what can we 5% do? lol.. lastly, i dun think those few ppl holding 95% of the shares will come to this forums. they have their expert to tell them what to do.. i never believe that postings at forum can determine the px accept there is serious rumours of news altering the very fundemental of the coy. else i Never believe a postings in forum able to affect a stocks price furthermore we are toking abt index here. lol |

simply let the market decide who is wrong and right....the market is the best objective judge and will prove whether we are right or wrong again and again....always have lots of forumers here with lots of different motives here calling (say shortists calling down when got position, longist calling long when got position etc.)....market is the best objective judge and the truth will be out to kill all liars...good luck :) |

also if sTI close below 3360 for anyday this week, be prepare to short it. this week is very critical to determine if we can get a xmas rally , of coz we may just get a contra trend before the down trend contd. take note we are still technically in downtrend now even thou sti rose. thus dun get carried away if u are not sure what u r doing. |

anyway, if sti dun break 3552 by this week, chances are downward movement is strong. currently sti has showed resilience which i think due to DOW positive futures? |

Forums are a good and free indicators. when times are good and bearish, u will see alot of jokers posting to boast, also there will be lots of postings giving targets and lots of news. when times are badly all this jokers hide their face thus u will hardly see postings. just take a look at todays postings.. much more compared to few days back... |
