STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

now market very unpredictable... DOW down, STI may up. This has been happening for the past few days. |

as mentioned before, i dun like the STI volume today. hope tomolo will not break 3000 thou if i am a bb i sure to break the 3000 to trigger ppl s/l. but than i saw some divergences in dow which i think may help us have some rebounce soon, provided the divergences didnt break. tomolo is option expiry for US hence i expect wild swing for DOW this week. |

what a rare big gain from the local market yesterday...many ppl buying up and the feeling was good on a Thursday...but now...seeing the DOW so red at current moment...and it is Friday...this big gain...might well turn towards an opposite direction |

indeed.. if u look at todays negative and bak positive.. tat's more than 100pts gain.. almost hitting 3150.. just short by 3.87pts.. |

i dun think it is what fed do that makes the market rally, i believe more govt is buying us shares to prevent us from going into recession and prevent their money from becoming worthless. either they spend 10% of their reserve or they can be well have their USD value down by half.. This recession may be slightly delayed by the dumping of funds into the us market |

dun be too quick to jump to the bull. rememeber the aug? the rally was short lived before a even more massive decline with the heaviest volume on the day. just compared the volume and u can see today's volume is low... if u see 30 nov when the bbs dump their shares. u will know today volume is low. also we need tomolo and monday to confirm the reversal. it may be just a 1 day rebounce due to oversold. technically we still in downtrend till it break abovw 3300 only then we can tok abt up trend. |

cashiertan, Exact sentiment regarding thin volume. I mentioned it earlier also. But I feel that we should savour this moment for a while. Never see this since the start of the year ? |
