STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

Most likely they will cut as they know that everybody is expecting them to cut. If they dont, they will see the market crashing down. but even if they cut, may be is just another small percentage point as the recent cut was quite big already |

With all the writeoffs and losses reported, the sub prime is all but over. What needs to be settled now are all the backends issues. Things are looking better now. Be positive, do not join the pessimistic CROWD. |

Don't think the rate cut will have much impact on US market, remember the last quater rate did not help much, in fact it bring down the market as well. |

I am only afraid what if Fed decided not to cut rate this time since the rate have been cut by 0.75 recently. It will be nightmare man! |

Month by month - new STI lows for some stocks I have stopped buying new stocks for some time Still holding to old stocks though |

The Fed is expected to cut 50 basis points on 29/30 Mtg. This should boost the stocks. Likewise in Singapore, we are expecting an Interest rate cuts too. If this happens, the stocks would get a boost too. CNY Rally is definitely there. Buy now and sell later ???????????? |

The Fed is going cut rate of between 25 to 50 basis points. It will put further pressure on the US dollars. "Hardly a case to rejoice about. US market will trade lower with news that the FED is trying to help the US economy averting a recession. Report out last week: US consumers are spending less.... Asian markets are hardly decoupled from the US. With scenario like this, I expect the Asian market to trade downward from now till March when the quarter results will come in. STI will trade below 3000pts. Spore economy to grow by 4.5% this year. with Inflation higher than 4.5% and salary not increasing more than 4.5%, most people will be worse off this year. :( sad...... Any good news? Nothing.... till the 1st quarter when everything becomes clearer. Happy trading |

market will be back to certainty from 1st February till 14th/21st April....it will move higher high (see now at around 3050)...buy on dip and good luck trading :)...Market is always RIGHT :) |

11th day of consecutive intra-day flunctuation of 5-100 points for the uncertainty period...days of uncertainty will be gone by 1st of Feb. and market will move higher high, and advise to BUY ON DIP....Market is always right and again and again, we will let the market prove whether we are right or wrong...good luck :) |
