Yes sifu, I totally agree on that... Stocks betting is all about mindset (human nature & experience).     The stock market should be treated more as an educational arena, where one learns about the meaning of life.         Practically every facet of being human existence can be represented and manifested in the stock market.               Things Like loyalty and belief, ego and vanity, greed and generosity, joy and elation,                     depression and misery, system and methodology... practically everything else in life...

In stocks (as in forex and other speculative markets), it is hard to be right even 50% of     the time. But one really need not be right half the time to be profitable in such markets.       Indeed, one need only be right once out of 10 times to be profitable. This can be                 true only provided that single winning trade is a 'home run'. But more often than not,                       due to human nature, people also turn their winning 'home runs' into losses by                               simply holding on for more. Thus playing stocks is all about human nature. |

When I got to this post, I feel sad but these are you guys mindset, I can't control.. :) With Betting, you might lose all..With prudent understanding and of course years of learning and experience, you might lose 2 trades and win 8 trades. I would love to share, but since this is the kind of the thing getting here, don't think  it will be appreciated at all.. That will mean spending time somewhere will be more meaningful than spending time sharing my view here. Adios. Star-Trader

U right, but with so many years of exprience. I sometimes will also kanna bite once a while and thats can't be avoided. A lots of times my feel had help me, but it also can go another stupid way. Maybe it not totally about the stock market, is all about the mindset. *We always try to bets with the best chance and odds, ya, we always try to bets for the outcome in the end. Luck is still the factor that we wish for more :) |

Yes, sifu Warren... I so very agree with you...     After many years of playing stocks, and seeing the market come and go,             one would have developed an inner 'feel' of the market.                     Yea, experience is very important, even in betting stocks...

I totally very the agreed with u on this. Use 200k+ for a few thousand gain, the risk reward in stock is like shiit odds. If kanna suspended even worst, u will wake up in ICU... But if u r good enough in stock betting, i still think the winning odds is still there. I believe because i was 1 of the lucky for so many years of playing :)

No matter whether it is betting that it will go up, or betting that it will go down,     it will still be betting, regardless of how much or how profound the knowledge.       Betting on 4D/Toto is much safet than betting on stocks, as it is much cheaper.                 Betting on stocks is a very expensive game... very expensive,                        as many investors have already found out...

As mentioned, Betting is no different to buying 4D/Toto.. I knew " someone" saying betting Genting and Noble to go down further, but in the end it didn't happen and this is the result of losing money even more if you bet on stock and not doing thorough study on how stock market works. Star-Trader

Whether it is cheap or or not depends on the trend...      If the downtrend is still in progress, shorting at juicy peaks is the way to go.         Perhaps 1.08 may be even cheaper?... lol...

When it was 2.35, did it look cheap to you now it is 1.305? For a entrainment and casino coy, this is considered cheap compared with those in Las Vegas or Macau. For a coy that makes 300m per quarter, this is considered cheap compared with the major banks that make the same profit. But what you think is cheap may not be what Mr. Market thinks.

Only just last year, when this one was at 2.35,  many bought, as they expected it to rise some more...     3.00, 3.50, 4.00, etc... due to good study of the fundamentals... Many open new accounts to play...       Since that time, nothing has changed, fundamentals have not changed... Only the price has tumbled                 gradually... The price now is only a measly  1.30... and uncertain...
