Large increase in STI today but volumes still remain relatively conservative. Better to remain cautious, IMHO. |

See alot of players, many of them in fact sell into strength or taking profit with them..if there is still have a small profit. My advise do not take position and don't hang on to hope. |

Too many uncertainties still... I took profit on all my shares that finally made $ today. Lesson gained is even if you earn $10, it is better than losing $. So dun be greedy. |

in view of tonight's release of retail sales...reflects consumer confidence...probably not very positive (unsure how negative it will be nia~...just see how much drop it is...if the drop is not too great...then might be a chance to be positive)...tt explains the downtrend...however on Thurs...Fed Chairman Ben will be out to speak again...can expect him to boost up some morale...and on Friday...on the local context, we have our Budget 2008 |

Europe will probably give STI one last boost... but don't count on STI breaking above 3000 today. I already see profit taking. Anyway, what Buffett is doing is just to reinsure the municipal bonds, NOT all bonds. He's only insuring the original bond insurers. Sell on rallies. |

WIth news from the US about Warren Buffet coming to rescue, the mkt must pick up aggressively. If not, it's coming down again. This morning the STI was dragging its feets, rally a little and pull back a little. I forsee that the afternoon session will be a dreadful one. Those with profit, better take some off the table first. Good luck folks, Cheers! |

The whole financial scam will come to a dreadful end as the Ponzi scheme unravels. The intervention of Warren Buffett will only prolong the agony and make matters worse. The whole financial structure of paper money and derivatives will have to be remodelled. |

Dun be too happy about the gains...the plan is not through yet. If the rest 2 bond insurers willingly to take up the deal then the market have a chance to stabilize. According to reports, none of the bond insurers are desperate to take up the deal now...something to think about... 
But this man...Warren Buffett can "give" the market confidence. |

Warren is an investor, BB is not. When an investor like Warren comes out to the rescue, it means the mkt is bottoming soon, hence the rally. However, the rally also shortlived...going backward to +130 pts. One man cannot move the entire mkt. |

When high tide, all ships afloat. This will be best to describe tomorrow's STI activities. DOW now in +ve 200 plus after one rich white knight comes to rescue. China opens its mkt tomorrow. If the East wind do not turn into tornado, I believe the gentle East wind will blow all ships northbound. So sit tight and enjoy the ride. |
