STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

quite "accurate" eh if u notice...wonder if this year 2008 will be odd months like Jan and Mar downfall...then even months like Feb and April uptrend |

The STI is forming a ascending triangle. There should be a negative breakout on monday. I just hope you guys are not holding onto too many shares. The recent rally these past weeks was not convincing at all. It did not pass the 50 day EMA. Using the lowest point which was 2746, u add 20% which is 3295 or 3300 to make it whole number resistance. It did not pass through that point as well and hence no significant trend change. |

cyjerry, I think u were talking about that guys that wrote if STI don't break 3,300 it could hit 2,600-2,800 which would be a great buying opp. Hmm for us to reach that level would take I think less than a week if things go badly wrong. Mon - Sell down -2900. US sell to 12,200 Tue - Again Sell down -2800 while US flat Wed - Contra Loss and Margin kick in , will drag us to 2,700 liao |

we are hearing experts (sorry i forgot the name...but he was an ang mo on the news this week commenting in a seminar)...saying if we hit near the region of 2500-2600...we can bottom fish already... it is said this ang mo very accurate....hmmm...it was dunno if a seminar organised by CNA or some radio station this week...forgot his name...anybody ring a bell on remember who is he? |

Think if tonight deep in the red...STI is sure to break the 3000 support and next stop 2800 follow by 2600. If 2600 also break.....than a real free fall will occur..I think. Any TA to advise??? |

i really believe so if the DJI drops incredibly big time tonight... it will be likely STI to drop below 3000 and if it really close below the 3000 support...den its here we goooooooooooo |

to all shifu out there, am i right to say if substantial drop in Dow tonite, and STI happens to fall below 3000 on monday, we might witness a free fall thereafter? |

should be free from any major drops on the index itself. no buyers for the last 9 trading days, so hard to pick up cheap bargains after the last major drop. |

High possibility that STI will face bear raid today.......STI has a few good session last couple of days...."fat" profit and worry will see people lock in their $$$ over the weekend as many would not want to caught off guard..... |
