guys...do remember that the major US indexes opened at more than 2% up...let's see how it closes tonight...it is of cos likely to be green when we wake up tomorrow...but how green is it? if the news of the $200 billion doesn't even help kick up the market to live and spur it upwards to close above 12000...then i guess...deep down we know what the situation will be like... ok...STI should gap up on Wed...any body game on buying? or sell on the rally? |

Really want to see the closing above 12000 at least the 200 billions are proved to be well spent to get investors confidence right? seems it's come down after only less than two hours... how to sustain though there will be a gap up for STI opening.. how long can this last before fed rate cut? again.. how deep is the cut to be??? worried man.......

fed injects $200b to the lending program, as such they may not reduce interest rate significantly next week so as to curb the sky rocketed inflation rate. but many investors have factor in 0.75 to 1% interest rate cut, and if the interest rate cut does not meet their expectations, we could see dow going south again... beware, just a thought.

indeed i agree with novena_33...that its gonna be interesting how DOW closes tonight...if above 12000...great~! but if like current situation...they had a positive of MORE THAN +280..... BUT NOW...currently la...it is +197...although yes it is positive...but tt's quite a big drop from the opening... we got to read deeper into the lines...Federal is desperately helping...but the market is really still down with all those economic proofs ... |

yep..these few days rally should offer a good chance to offload it to buyers who wants to buy it....... cos as the hopes of Federal help come in...ppl will wanna push the stock prices up...however, it might not be this case after next week...as people will begin to dwell on the tumbling markets again... |

dow jones 12000 now is up 250point,,,,if confidence to stay above 12000point it will go up another 250cts ppl there hungry to buy low,,,bottom fishing,,,,,,hot money flood in again hope rate cut,,,,,,ppl scarce lost chance follow tis railly,,,,,so 500point is no problem...cheers,,, |

500 pts not likely la.. the 2% positive is consider nice liao.. also duno will hope long anot.. Market sentiment still quite weak.. im v sure ppl will make use of this time to offload.. but with the interest rate cut, we might see some green this few days.. |

According to Bloomberg News :The Federal Reserve plans to lend up to $200 billion of Treasury securities in exchange for debt including private mortgage-backed securities that have slumped in value as homeowners defaulted on their payments. I think tomorrow will be a wonderful day. One day only !!! |
